When Mitch sings in his lower base I am absolutely blown away
Scott doesn't get enough credit for how versatile he is. He can sing bass or he can jump and sing some higher notes. Plus his stylizing is effortless.

This is not an easy song to sing, it goes over 2 octaves not including the starting note. To hear a man reaching those top E’s and doing so so smoothly is phenomenal. The arrangement of this is absolutely stunning as well, gorgeous backing vocals, filled and layered them up at the right moments so the right bits were stripped back/fuller when they needed to be. Muy Linda 😍 ♥️♥️♥️ you all did a beautiful job 🥰

The first singer, mitch grassi, has a recorded highest note of a B7 whistle note. Most high notes he can do in his sleep, and he hits F5's and F#5's pretty regularly.

Whenever we get to hear Mitch and Scott's voices together in isolation, I get full chills.I just love how their voices blend.
There's a lot of rumors being spread in this comment section so I'm gonna clear some things up:
1. Mitch is not sick
2. He doesn't have cancer, that was just a rumor that tabloid sights spread when he shaved his head
3. He does not do drugs (he does weed but I'm not counting that because it wouldn't affect his health or his appearance)
4. He's always had bags under his eyes but he usually covers them with makeup in these videos
5. The rest of him "looking sick" is just the lighting and editing of the video
6. Famous or not famous you should keep rude opinions/concerns about someone's appearance to yourself

I've been a Pentaholic since the daft punk days, they're probably my favorite music group. I'll admit, I slowly drifted away from them after Avi left because he was my favorite. But dont get me wrong, I love Matt! It just didn't feel the same I guess. Anyways, this was the first video I watched of them after kinda forgetting about them. It was in my recommendation, and oh my gosh why did I ever stop listening to this group!! Like the replay button must be broken and the onion ninjas must be at it again because oh my gosh this is such a beautiful arrangement and such a beautiful group!!

Does anyone else miss when their music videos ended with them saying “heeeeyyy!” and talking to us for a minute? I loved that.
They were super personable and endearing, but for me, it took me a bit out of the music more abruptly. It was kind of jarring. I'm one of those people who like to repeat listen, but they'd usually jump in with their, "Heyyyy!" before I could pause it and go back, so it was like a bit of a race to get there without being completely taken out of the moment. The comments from them and the sort of... update of it all was cool. I might have preferred it beforehand, to be honest, to introduce the video, if it was included. I understand why it wasn't though.
The downside of this lack of collective outro is that we don't get that personal touch feeling, but the good part is that it does feel more professional. Our guys are all grown up. ~happy tears~

Scott’s raspiness at the end fit perfectly and sounded amazing. Matt and Kevin killed the background and Matt killed his solo. Kirstin seemed to hold back just a little bit and that added so much to the song. Mitch... what can’t we say about him in this song. Perfect tone and perfect sound. Pentatonix once again makes me love a song more than I already did
