This ride is so smooth and elegant it looks like drone footage with a KTM photo shopped in. Too bad you can't make money in the desert with these riding skills.
Ammon, This was one of my favorite rhino rally's ever...the course was a blast! Josh makes it look like he's riding a hover board though...ah, to have some talent. lol
@@riodj80 Hey man! Long time. Thats awesome to hear it was fun, i feel like it can be hit or miss the last few years. Yeah he is unreal. I love watching him almost as much as riding myself.
Economy of expenditure. No wasted motion. No wasted action. No wasted energy. Efficient, effortless waltzing with the machine across, through and over the desert.
I don't like this video... makes me realize I ride in SLO-MO. Nice job on the win! Loved the "woohoo, I jumped it" and wth was that massive bird you were chasing in the wash? Watched in 4k, very cool.
Thank you! That's the rear brake you hear. I am really hard on rear brakes, more than normal. As I have practiced better foot positioning I have slightly improved my brake control however I still have a tendency to drag them a lot. Also going that quick on a two-stroke usually requires a lot of braking due to the lack of engine braking.
Of course, the biggest reason is because not only do I race but I also really enjoy trail riding. Combining all of my riding together my favorite bike is a KTM 250 two-stroke. If I just simply raced all the time I probably would own a four-stroke. If you're interested in learning more of the reasons behind what bikes I ride check out our full course coming soon at Ridewiththeknights.com There will be a full video sharing our experiences with four-strokes and two-strokes. Thanks!
1st loop is 45mi from what I've heard. Is there a fuel stop on the 1st lap before hitting the pits? My boy will be in the 125 novice class. 1st year on the big bikes.
Wow! So stinking fast! How do you read the terrain to where you can shave the inside of a corner so good with out getting into an obstacle? I have never raced a desert race. The rules must give you 50 feet to each side of the course.
Rob, unfortunately my GoPro died before I finished the race. Sometimes I wear an extra battery pack to get extended battery life but it does tend to be a little heavier.

yeah you can
Love the sound of a bike being pushed!
Wow, this video looks 4000 times better than Mesquite. Killer ride!

Nice riding, dude.
Great riding dude! Is that the rear brake squealing or the front? Just trying to figure out how you're applying the brakes...

@@ridewiththeknights Thanks for taking the time to answer my question! Really enjoy your vids. All the best!
whoever disliked this is probs jealous that they arent that good
Any chance you'd offer some insight as to why you go with a two stroke over a four stroke?
Thanks!

He has a training coarse. He can show you; )
So do we get to see the end of the race?
