Great video, I like the music you play, very fitting! Where do you get your music from? I especially liked the song that was playing when you were on a coffee break. Thank you.

The music is all from the RUclips audio library. I think the two songs used in this video is by the Mini Vandals. They have some nice beats

Thanks for your videos and information!!! We would like to visit this park. What are the best affordable accommodations (besides camping)? Stay in tented camp at Manyane or ourside the park nearby? How many days do you suggest at this park before going on to Marakele, Mapungabwe, and Kruger on 6 week trip?

Hi again! Unfortunately the jump in price from camping to a chalet inside the park is rather steep - I think it goes from about R480 for a powered camp site to R3800 for a 4 sleeper chalet. For two people it may become cheaper to consider a fully inclusive lodge such as Bakubung Bush Lodge, Kwa Maritane or Ivory tree. They would typically include game drives and meals.
One possibility for cheaper accommodation is to use The Kingdom resort just outside Sun city - I think chalets cost about R1500 a night and includes a hot breakfast. From the Kingdom to the Bakubang Gate is a quick drive, maybe about 10 minutes without traffic.
Remember to check out the beginner's guide video to the Pilanesberg as well:

Great Idea to stay at The Kingdom! An option that we would have never considered! Visiting from USA, we can't bring our camping gear, so are looking for less expensive overnight options!

Have you gone birding at Nylsvlei??? It looks like an amazing place for waterfowl when there is water. What month does the rain start?

@@Jonathan_and_Tammie There is also the option of hiring camping equipment if needs be. Check out Scuttle.co.za who can assist and are quite reasonable as well.

@SouthAfricanWanderer that web address gives me a funky warning. Not clicking on it.
