Try twisting each strand as you also twist them together... Hope that makes sense. Idk if you've ever seen one of those auto twist/braid machines. But if you have, it's the same concept.

Mini rubber bands at the end help. If you're trying to do long twists as a beginner , it's harder. I recommended cutting them in half, they'll be medium length and much easier to secure at the end. I had trouble too

You might be twisting in the wrong direction and you gotta hold the pieces firmly as you twist

The style is called passion twist; if you have a beauty supply store nearby, they have packs of hair with “ passion twist “ on the packaging and also the hair comes twisted so you’ll have to unravel

You can use passion twist, kanekelon or Marley hair … depending on the texture look you want

@@elexisavalanche2001 depends on size of parts and persons head size … but I always say 3-4 for larger parts … 5-6 for smaller is a good starting point and make sure where you got the hair from has a return policy

Dip in hot water to seal the ends

When braiding hair is curly it doesn’t usually unravel . You just twist all the way to the ends and finger coil the very tips like you would natural hair.
If you use kanekalon/braiding hair that is a straighter texture , you would dip the ends of that in hot water to seal the ends. Straight hair has a higher chance of unraveling then passion twist/marley hair
