Hi, 47 years old here. Have been doing calisthenics for more than 2 years now and working on muscle up, bent arm planche and freestanding HSPU right now. I workout almost everyday and I'm also on 16/8 diet which makes almost impossible for me to gain weight. Eating very large meals in very shorttime puts lots of stress on my digestive system and makes me bloated, so I've been consuming high carb and high protein shakes using whey protein after workouts. I also take 10 gr of collagen daily to support my joints. Not to mention all other stuff like vitamins, omega3 capsules etc. But still I'm struggling with gainin weight so I'm thinking about reducing the frequency of intermittent fasting. Hope you can achieve your target, please let us know about your progress. Good luck.

How are you going to progressively overload? And, is training 3 times a week because of recovery?

I've been training 3 times a week for a long time. It's partly because of my very busy life, and partly because it feels like I need that much time to recover. When my kids leave for college in a couple years, I might try a 4-day per week program.

...and about the progressive overloading: nothing fancy. I was just planning to slowly increase the reps, and at some point start increasing the weight and/or doing harder progressions. Right now things are still dicey with my shoulder, so I don't want to push things too fast.
