- The country of El Salvador never crossed my mind as a travel destination to visit because of the past insecurity surrounding the it, but now the country is changing alot in a positive directions making it not only safe for tourist but safe for the locals of the land. In this video the ministry of tourism has teamed up with me to share my experience traveling through the country of El Salvador, let me just say this country was not what I expected.
The goal of the video is to Inform and Educate changes and destination's that little country holds, El Salvador is the most underrated country in the world but I predict in the future it will be a thing of the past.

After 33 years I finally came back home to El Salvador. Yes it's beautiful. Yes it's affordable. Yes it's safe. But their biggest asset is their people. The people here are so welcoming, humble and genuine. From Uber drivers to pupusa makers on the side of the road to the security guard at a hotel, they're happy and thankful you're here.

I went back home last year for the first time in 42 years. It was the most amazing coming home I could have asked for. The people, food and everything in between was absolutely amazing! The COUNTRY is safe and a great place for tourists.

You will love it! It's safe to go there now. I went in October and it was great! My mom was surprised because she had gone 2 years earlier and the difference in how safe it is now is like night and day.

Definitely an underrated country! I was there last year and hit just about all these places, except I checked out their ruins and their hot spring waterfall!

Kinda wanna see some people just walking through certain neighborhoods that used to be hella dangerous but aren't as much anymore since Bukele implemented Martial Law.

Is this a campaign commercial for the current president? It seems to me that that was the purpose of the invitation to go with everything pay and basically taking you to very fancy places. Last time I went, they only game me 1 week visa to stay, even thou, I was born in El Salvador, they did not care. My friends that went with me, they are born and raised in the US, yes, they are white, and not kids from Salvadoreans, they gave them a visa for 3 months. What the hell is that? They only cater to foreigners, or it seems to me that they care more about foreigners that locals. I am glad you had a good time
theres been a campaign all year actually, they are bringing in content creators like myself to tour and explore the country and letting us do what we do best when it comes to showcasing a destination. This has nothing to do with the president, as I mentioned the ministry of tourism sponsored my trip, these are called (Press Trips). They brought me in to tour the country for 7 days and I created content from each single day, its work lol. My visa was $12 which i was granted 30 days, it was all i needed since my stay was not long. My only message after being there and speaking with locals and family's is that they feel safer in the streets and in San Salvador, so its a good time to visit, that is all. I hope I cleared any confusion and thank you for listening to what I had to say about this country.
That is great to hear. This is why Salvador is growing and prospering. It’s a shame because all other Central American countries are going down the gutter because of their dictator president like Nicaragua. As an American with family ties to Nicaragua I cry. Any other central and South American country is going down the gutter. I applaud whatever the Salvadorian president is doing to improve the country.

$400 FOR a night 😢😢 everything is getting expensive FOR locals due to tourist that are.coming and pay a lot
It’s just that specific room, I wouldn’t generalize the entire tourism industry on that, that room is expensive, most foreigners wouldn’t pay for that like myself haha.
For the most part everything else is accessible, free for everyone to experience, I would dwell on that space.

And I do agree that the country is much better than it has ever been, I am Mexican married to a Salvadorean for 37 years and only in the last 4 years have I had the courage to visit the country, now I go twice a year.
