Claire-Louise Bennetts debutbok, novellesamlingen Pond (Dam), har fått stående applaus i hele den engelsktalende verden, er aktuell i norsk utgave. En av dem som har latt seg begeistre av britens skrivekunst er forfatterkollega og hennes norske forlegger, Karl Ove Knausgård.

Lesson learned. Do not laugh much in the north. It is interesting how quelling, however unintentional, the atmosphere is to her initial humor
