THIS VIDEO IS THRILLING. You have the energy of ten people as a street biker while narrating and filming at the same time. Extraordinary skill set. I hope more Americans get out and bike.
Thank you AK! I lived in Brooklyn for 51 yrs, moving in Feb 2020, just prior to the pandemic lockdown. I worked, drove & walked along these roads countless times. This video shows the vibrancy and beauty of Brooklyn. I miss that so much! I don't miss the construction & traffic-lol!
AK just have to drop you a note to tell you how much I enjoy your style. Tom is an attractive fast talker crammed with mostly factual knowledge, Jennifer is attractive and Sarah is as well but you my friend are the bomb. You are constant and consistent as the day is long. You display excellent manner, right attitude, good morals, respect for others, sympathy, empathy and you do that not only sometimes in general; you do it every time. You are the real deal. What can I say except that I love your videos and I have come to love you not as a shipper but as someone who truly appreciates you for what you are doing. You, the gentle guy from Queen's are the jewel in the crown of New York City. Please, keep it up for all of our sakes.
Omg i love this video you rode though all my old stomping grounds. I had so much fun see all the different parts of Brooklyn. Didnt get to visit this year so your video help with me missing my home. Thank you so much.😄
ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHANNELS...Riding through the neighborhoods I lived in and ventured through in NY especially Eastern Parkway (Childhood memories) by the Museum where my Aunt used to live. Homesick but I'll eventually will move back when all this quarantine is over :-)
Your cycling videos are my favs!!!👍 I watch u while I'm on my exercise bike. U do such an great job narrating while u bike...funny and informative...so thank u.God bless and stay safe🙏✌️❤️
I remember the day ground broke on the Barclay's Centre. I was living right beside it on Carlton Avenue. I once had a studio apartment on Eastern Parkway and crossing over to Prospect Park was an ordeal. I can see my old apartment building at 21:13
That seems VERY friendly. I like how the open streets give people a way to walk around and bike around to add to the haven feel. A small oasis inside a rustling urban jungle. Nice
I don't know how easy/hard this would be but it would be cool if you could record your GPS data and have that showing in the corner so people can see exactly where you are. Love your vids, AK!
I always enjoy watching your bike ride videos. Another option for getting to coney island is going through the park and exiting at park circle by coney island Ave which you can take a path to ocean parkway which takes you the beach, but ocean parkway is bumpy. Keep up the great work
AK you are too funny. When you said, "for some reason I see so many double-parked cars here" I had to laugh. Welcome to Brooklyn, baby. Apologies for double-posting; at least I wasn't double-parked, ha ha. Oh, one other thing I thought was interesting. As you rode through Brooklyn and got closer to the beach I noticed that houses were built-up one level instead of having underground basements. Then it dawned upon me, of course, close to the water one has to guard against high ground water and the possibility of a flood in a storm like super storm Sandy.
ActionKid,...I must congratulate you on this video. This is perhaps your very best - With the help of NATURE of course. That was a day beautiful for celebration and the people of NYC responded. I'm sorry I missed it due to business, however, thanks to you I can rejoice such a wonderful day - Thank you very much - (Muchisimas gracias.)
Easy to just request a tree from the City and they'll come plant one or two in front of your property for free. People are actually complaining the city planting trees they don't want in front of their properties.
@actionkid AK, can you do a live walking tour of the Flatbush/Midwood neighborhood one day? I was born there and moved from BK to NJ when I was six years old in the 80's. I would love to see how it looks now.
Downtown was my old neighborhood born 1951 and left 1986, It had more character and character's back then and more warmth compared to today. From the 1970s - mid 80s I would ride my 10 speed bike from downtown to Coney Island or Riis Park on week ends starting on Warren St between Smith & Court where I lived and ride up to 5th ave then make right and ride until Bay Ridge Av. , Then right down to Shore Road pedestrian/bike path alone the Belt Park Way where I road to Coney a fun ride then with fewer bikes around.
I used to bike to Coney as a teenager but took Ocean Parkway straight. Not sure if bikes are allowed there now though. Keep up the great work Action kid
I love your videos, my man! Stumbled across them and now i play them all day while I work. I’m from Miami but lived in Brooklyn for 5 years and still miss it every day. Haven’t been to back since the Covid Craziness started but your videos are the next best thing. Keep doing your thing my man! Strong work 💪
Slightly off topic maybe Actionkid in the near future can do a e-scooter or cycling ride from New York City's lengthiest route Wakefield, Bronx (North) to Breezy Point, Queens (South). Widthiest route Tottenville, Staten Island (West) to Floral Park and Glen Oaks, Queens (East)?.
I heard Brooklyn had changed since I have not been there in 15 years but I never in a million years would have believed that it has changed this much. WOW, looks like a quiet manhattan 😂 It must be hella expensive now
While riding down Bedford Avenue, the driver that made the abrupt left turn saw you. Some drivers have no consideration for other vehicles, being a cyclist myself I note those drivers as having the "me first " syndrome. They consciously know they're wrong for it, but lack self respect, which in turn prevents them from respecting things around them. You be safe and I know you're staying alert to those lacking in people skills.
At the very beginning you're right down the block from my middle school, or should I say schools since they have 3 different campuses lol. My mom works at the college to your left. I hate school but I low key miss walking/driving down that block after school, quarantine got me bored asf
I mean New York have some very cool areas to live you can be famous and pretty much live anywhere it's pretty much nice buildings all around The city and no one would ever know
I used to ride that and go to far rockaway but looks cold there already. Sad what happened to brooklyn not worth living there at all for years. Eventually u bike everywhere and get tired of the rest.
Hello, put in your videos the option of subtitling in Portuguese. We are from Brazil and we always assist you, but we would like to understand what you say.
I see New York definitely don't play around when it comes to transportation they still have they cab Heavy Especially when everybody else are doing ubers And other car services

Beautiful video thank you so much for posting reminds me of home
After watching several of your videos I realize that ... Ny has way more trees than I thought it did. I'ma put some respect on y'all's city. Lol

i miss the outer borough cycling videos😔

Hey AK, have you ever crashed in a car door ? The bike lane is so close to the parked cars, I think its pretty dangerous.
ActionKid have ever thought of exploring all of the island of Long Island?
Great idea!!
@@DarleneDranda *THANK YOU.*
Waiting for the 4K/60fps version to process...looks like a great video
I love these videos! Why are days so short? 24 hours a day is not enough!!!
Cherry hall.. was Lundys for decades. Subway equals elevated trains.Did you take the subway home?
Wow amazing
Oooh its called Bedford avenue. I’m interested because my hometown in the UK is called Bedford, in the county of Bedfordshire. Nice to see

@@snowbeach7 Thanks! :)) So many memories in that school & neighborhood bc my aunt also lived two blocks away. :))

End of the world!
Good vid. Also, it seems that there are no pickup trucks in Brooklyn. Parking would probably be bad.
Are all the bicyclists using the same bicycle lane?
Big fan here
Hi, I'd like to visit New York, do you know when the borders will reopen?
Hopefully soon. I miss visitors.
I can't wait to see your beautiful city 😍
1:45 I remember that IRS stream.... have you been audited yet?! j/k lol
Haha, it's coming though :)

Did I really see you run over four red lights ? lol
I’m also noticing a lot of people from Florida in NY. That’s great tho.
Suggestion: Get a GoPro Hero 9, and use "horizon leveling."
I'll definitely look into it!
