I feel that it has the power to achieve greater speeds and the trim tabs will certainly help, just like the wild thing. Great place and great runs...have fun Jan!

Thanks Dim! You're right, above say 80km/h the boat starts to hop and chinewalk. I tried several setups in the past days, and I learned quite a bit. But I'm not there yet. I did get a new speed record with the 43mm 1.6 pitch props. It will be in the next video. But on that run, I still felt it has more in it, if it ran stable and if I could hold the throttle longer. I will get there, I think the trim tabs will help to tame it down a bit!

Thanks, the rudder is fixed on the camping site. But the boat setup needs improvement. The boat runs very loose still. I think I set the stingers with too much downtrim, pushing the boat out of the water.
It also needs trim tabs to stabilize the boat. Maybe the props generate too much lift as well... Or maybe the hatch cockpit, because this issue wasn't really present with the flat plate hatch.. Many things to consider, but I just change 1 thing at the time and I will eventually find the proper speed run setup 😎

@daiciuapostol79 Ah, yes! My first flat hatch I feel gave better handling. Less lift. I will make another flat one 😎

Jeez, such a high chance off winning i've never had 😂.
It is fair to say if you come above 60-70% throttle the hop starts. Hopefully you will concentrate your next outing just in the rudder. Curious to see if that totally fixes the hop or if there is something else. I heard/read in past something about angle rudder blade compared to the rudder arm. I did try that once but didn't notice a big difference but that doesn't mean it has no effect.
So far the rudder arm held up. Had bit my doubts because it looked so long but it held up so far... 👍

You had 3.85% of winning 😅. No worries, I will do more giveaways in the future! Probably, the next one at 3k subs.
The rudder angle offset I already fixed. It holds up great, also due to the brace underneath.
I experimented with the rudder blade angled backwards. It will be in the next video. I could notice the difference! You might notice it in the next video 😎.
I will continue on funetuning the setup. As soon as it's stable, I will upgrade to 2x SSS 3674 2075kV motors👍

Loved that giveaway. Congratulations to the winner.
I was thinking like other's that you are in need of trim tabs to keep it down. I'm also curious, will it solve this problem totally? I'm curious because I've had a bunch of boat's that bounces on 85-100% throttle as nd I can't push them.
So, you're next video will help a lot,i hope.
Godspeed and i wish you the best.

Thank you for your comment! I try to make up my mind, why the G-Force runs so unstable. It ran much better in the beginning. I basically only changed the rudder, and I added the cockpit hatch. I will continue the fine-tuning, and the trim tabs will be one of the first modifications.✌️

@@CozyRC How about you push your batteries a bit front,if there's space. Or, use smaller batteries to see what happens with weight shifting.
It's a guess that there's a chance the boat is heavy on stern? I'm not sure, just a suggestion.

After watching the many running shots in this video, I have this thought for you. Do you have enough surface area on your rudder and turn fins to control the weight of this boat? The way it so easily swaps ends made me think of that...

Thanks for your comment Sam. It makes sense, and I will try a longer rudder blade for sure. There are so many parameters to tune. I will add trim tabs l, too. More to come!
