5:20 I saw this homeless guy today at the tube station singing the same Flintstones song through a traffic cone. He is in the Oxford street area quite often.
4 years later, the dude's still hustling eh? With the nostalgic tunes that EVERY1S familiar with, he probably makes more dosh in benefits/begging than the average working dude, so, power to him [I guess? Or maybe fuck him, I honestly dont have an opinion anymore xD]
I've just watched all of London streets brilliant footage 👍 well filmed and great interviewer allowing the colorful characters of this historical city tell their stories. I have subscribed thank you 👍 u put the BBC to shame .
@@PABLOSTRONGVLOGS ah ok. Good to hear that :) was a bit 'afraid' cos there are not that many episodes and guess I am nearly half way through. Just imagine watching these, lets call it, 'documentaries' 20 years from now. About life stories you hear and also covid stories and everything. Even if you can or can not make a living out of it its a great piece of contemporary art and/or history☝🏼 But, most important thing....try not to become famous, otherwise you cant do this format anymore ;)
Indeed. I spent three months in Africa 28 years ago and even though I'm not really an artist in the formal sense, looking back, apart from all the wonderful sights and sounds, it seems there was more opportunity to integrate the arts with the flow of life.
Hi, everyone, I wonder why the majority of the interviewed people, especially the old ones think London was a better city back in their days. Love your content
I think it's the same for everybody once you reach a certain age. Music was better in the old days, people, cities, movies, girlfriends, were all better. Back then the same people probably complained about the (then) current state of things.
I like this video. It's so fascinating to hear stories from the seniors. Best part of this video is the cone singer. :D Btw, this kinda theme reminds me of HoNY (Humans of NY).
old crosby had a hell of a ride he went all over the world done millions on coke went to jails n all sorts lived in a pair of levis n made some great tunes alomg the way ,,,but made it back home with some barnet left and some great storys no dought ,legend no
Hi, I just happened to know about this series. It's great...but if I can suggest you something, I would have liked to see the portraits of each person you have interviewed...maybe at the end of the video in order to not interrupt the beautiful flow you've given to it cutting it perfectly. (Sorry for my english if I've made some mistake...I'm not an english speaker)
I live in africa. I can tell you it's highly overrated & very dangerous - excuse the pun but I highly recommend you do some research first before you pull the 'trigger' !

Great video. Interesting interviews. I really like the Zoom H1, and I never thought to use mine for interviews, because it picks up a lot of ambient sound. It sounds like you're slightly clipping, do you set the gain at 60? It might help to give yourself more headroom. Keep up the good work!
Pablo Strong sure! To put it in photo terms, audio clipping/peaking is like losing your highlights (overexposing). Reducing the audio gain (exposure), would help avoid audio distortion. I used to set my H1 to 70-75, but hated the distortion in loud events. I currently set mine at 60, and raise the audio level in iMovie/FCPX. The H1 has a peaking LED that blinks when audio clips (under your wind screen). I also set mine to 48khz/24bit to have a good dynamic range in the audio. Thanks for producing some great content! I look forward to watching your videos!
I moved to Arusha, Tanzania in 2014 after 3 wonderfully turbulent years in London. I totally agree with this gentleman’s recommendation, however I find myself yearning for London pastures more than ever since viewing this content.
What a refreshing poignant antidote...My fav place and I'm yet to go. Thomas cook cancelled my trip to Carthage last year, unfortunately. But I will see the motherland and all its wonders one day.

Oh no. Another RUclips obsession developing. Great show!
You've managed to get such great responses from all kinds of people, bravo sir.

These are just gorgeous moments captured, this series is great such elegant interviewing the right questions allowing the people to just speak
