@modewr I re-record spots where I screw up and I play frame by frame. To be sure you understand, just watch "Short TAS Tutorial (Mupen 64/Goldeneye)" from R151NGT3MP357. It's a pretty good tutorial, not about MK4, but it explains the basics.
To play with Goro, well watch the video again you should see an annotation at 0:03. And, to be able to make videos like that, use Mupen64, an emulator that takes advantage of slowmotion and rerecording.
