Greetings I can never overstand why they have to use solid blocks in Ghana look at those blocks they are heavt but still it makes it easier for you to lay there and although they have the holes they still have their integral strength

I have a lot of respect for you guys. I this work with my father during the summer school break and it was very hard work, mixing the cement, transport the cement them working, handing and stacking the concrete blocks. It made me a better person working hard.

What bonds the re-bar to the blocks? There seems to be no mortar in the vicinity of the bar, so how does the bar add to the structural integrity?
