Best way I can explain is to lean back, pull your bars up and to your chest, bend your knees while pushing your bars forward to level out. Practice like crazy and you'll have little "oh i get it" moments.

I have read tons of articles and watched tons of tutorial videos, followed all the steps and I still cant get my back wheel off the ground. It is just extremely hard for me. I don't know if my bikes to heavy, if I'm doing it wrong, or if I'm just stupid.

Bunny hops can be sort of a hassle to get down... just act like you are jumping on your feet and pull up your bars. remember to bend your knees
