Marcelo, I was just a campfire player but during the Covid Crisis, I took a lot of effort to learn Rumba Flamenca. U are my inspiration to play Rumba Flamenca.
And today I can play exactly the same way in 8 steps that u taught. Its awesome. It turned out so well. I just can't believe that I can play the Rumba Flemenca like you now. I've gotta learn a lot from you. Thank you for being my teacher.

1st, get a guitar and pick a style to start..flamenco, blues, whatever
2 learn the basic chords untell fingers can deal with it
3 find something nice to your ear that is SIMPLE and try to play
if that worked then you decide if you need a teacher or if you can pick it up from RUclips
You CAN learn, it's just annoying for the first......well depends on how much practice

Your style of teaching is the best I have come across for learning the Spanish guitar. The way you teach is clear and, not rushed, you keep me engaged wanting to learn more. Normally I would give up because the way some teach is rushed and, not clearly showing what hand is doing what, therefore I would get disheartened and, believe that I'm not smart enough to play this way. @@premsai6612 Classical guitar (nylon) and acoustic guitar (steel string) have different musical applications and of corse somewhat different play styles. you can do some singer-songwriter stuff on nylons to a certain extend, but strumming patterns for singer-songwriter will allways sound more authentic on steel string (a.k.a western guitar). classical music (which spanish guitar music is strongly related to) can't be played authentically on steel strings, i.m.h.o. (Try playing the intro-verse of 'nothing else matters' on both steel and nylon, you will immediatly see what i mean.) first you need to decide which path you wanna take. if you're into classical stuff, go to music school! (no you-tube video is gonna make up for that) if you are into pop/rock-acoustics, get a steel-string guitar and a good instructional book/you-tube channel. (though classical education helps tremendously with pop/rock-accoustics) the video above is absolutly top-notch from an instructional point of view, but certainly not for beginners. he is showing a specific right-hand-technique for a specific classical! play-style, which has nothing to do with 'ordinary' cord strumming. So my advice would be: buy a good specific instrument according to your musical preference, and then buy the other one in a more basic( cheaper) version, for having 'a little bit of connection to the other world', so to say ... or just showing off at camp-fires ;-)

Wow, what a great master, so easy on the understanding and a lot of tips for practicing. Most people tend to only say what you need to do but they never actually teach about how can you progress and practice these kind of complicated things to understand (at least if you're a beginner like me)

Unfortunately here in my town in Poland there's no anyone with even an one percent of your skills and who is interesting with that kind of music.
