It took me years of field investigation and door knocking to get my emotions under control to the point I could think 10 steps ahead in any conversation. I watch for key indicators in their body language as well as what they say and never let what they are saying or how they are acting affect me. It gets to some people really bad when they see they are having zero effect so they get more and more frustrated which works to my advantage.
I don't know if you read these Matt, but I wanted you to know that your customer service skills are exceptional. There is one thing being behind a counter or phone and being a good as customer service but it's another ball game when you're actively taking the vehicle and still able to do all of that. Good Job.

I did Repo's here in MN for two years, and I have to say it was one of the most intense jobs I have ever done. I started out going solo but ended up paying another person to watch my back the last six months. I only had three clients and they slowly fed me the "trouble makers" so it was a lot of work and gas money tracking down bad address's and leads. Much respect on 26 years!

Seriously, get a job, pay for your car, and none of this shit would happen. I know someone who’s car was deposed and they said “I didn’t think they could find us out here”, which clearly indicates they had no intention of paying their car note. The audacity of them to believe they can continue to use a car and not pay for it and they they will not come after it.
OK so how come you don't just put the transfer case in neutral and tow from the front? Obviously its not ideal to hook up to the front with the wheel cranked all the way over but Is it just more weight than you want to have on your truck? Because the transfer case pump runs off the output shaft so I don't see how it could cause any damage to the vehicle being towed.
I work security in Texas, and have had repo guys come around to pick up vehicles while the debtor is at work. I've seen them carry pistols, sawed off pistol grip shotguns, and one guy even had an AR or an M4 or something slung around his shoulder.
I had a judgement and was owed $2500 plus a lot of filing fees and time for court. The party still wouldn't pay. I got a writ of execution. Had the sherrif go out to exercise it. They towed the lady's new Ford 4x4 away on a friday. I got my money in full on monday. Writs of execution works.
I work from home as a custom seamstress/costumer and have taken to watching Matt's videos as I am working. I've always been interested in the repo business and he makes it look even more AWESOME!! I just to repo in Virginia. State declares that no weapons, ie. firearms are allowed to be carried in a commercial vehicle. It sucks especially when getting shot at by debtor.
When you see a high end vehicle, don't assume the person who is driving it is rich. It may be another one of these people who seek status without substance. Many rich people drive very ordinary vehicles. They are practical and prudent and to an extent, these qualities contributed to their wealth.
We have the right to refuse any repo but I rarely back down from a challenge. I just use technology and ingenuity to stay one step ahead of that golden BB that has my name on it.
Very professional. Watched almost all of your videos and I am actually tempted to look into doing this after a 30 year career in LE. ***** If they are passive PA speakers they can absolutely be used in car audio as long as you have an amp with the correct impedance you're good to go. I've used home theatre speakers and gutted PC sub woofers in cars, works fine.
If you take car audio seriously and want to use the correct products, the only way the back of your truck should be full of PA gear is on the way to a gig. I can use a golf club to hammer a nail into wood too, but it isn't the right tool for the job. Therefore I would not do it. Does that clear it up for you? Hopefully you won't now argue that PA cabinets are the right tool for the job here but hey, it's the internet so anything goes.

Legally yes but our insurance underwriter does not allow them in the cab of the trucks or on our persons if we want to get the rates we get.

I just to repo in Virginia. State declares that no weapons, ie. firearms are allowed to be carried in a commercial vehicle. It sucks especially when getting shot at by debtor.

When you see a high end vehicle, don't assume the person who is driving it is rich. It may be another one of these people who seek status without substance. Many rich people drive very ordinary vehicles. They are practical and prudent and to an extent, these qualities contributed to their wealth.
We have the right to refuse any repo but I rarely back down from a challenge. I just use technology and ingenuity to stay one step ahead of that golden BB that has my name on it.

I can't stand how people believe that there is a grace period. Fact is the date of payment is binding, creditors report pay is late to person's credit, then after payment is past grace period it's time to repo. That's your grace period.

Those speakers are PA cabinets. They may be worth something, but they have no use in car audio.

If they are passive PA speakers they can absolutely be used in car audio as long as you have an amp with the correct impedance you're good to go. I've used home theatre speakers and gutted PC sub woofers in cars, works fine.

If you take car audio seriously and want to use the correct products, the only way the back of your truck should be full of PA gear is on the way to a gig. I can use a golf club to hammer a nail into wood too, but it isn't the right tool for the job. Therefore I would not do it. Does that clear it up for you? Hopefully you won't now argue that PA cabinets are the right tool for the job here but hey, it's the internet so anything goes.

You're in the right and she's in the wrong re: the car. However, if I told you to leave my property, you'd leave post haste. I once had a repo man repo the car. Unfortunately for him, it was after I had made the most recent payment - it was all up to date. He returned the car with an apology.
