1994-1996 Impala SS EGR Replacement (Update On Impala)

I deleted the egr on my 95, runs better and also runs cleaner, engine oil is still clean after 7 months

Did you have to tune it after delete how did you do it

@haniballector I ordered a block off plate kit and on the 95 she don't even throw a code for the egr valve, did the same on a 95 suburban and it just throws a code for closed egr but it'll turn off after 30 to 45 minutes of highway driving

Once you drive about 90 miles it will cut off if its the issue

I had mine cat on passenger side stop up and ruin internal parts ended up getting a crate lt1 replaced everything

I would look at the wiring on it it’s an old car and the wires can start getting separated, for me it was due to a remote start wiring issue also check the fuses make sure none of them are blown

If you haven't replace the plug wires and make sure you get the plug separators

What are the plug separator needed for? Arcing? Could you give part plz?

@hoppskippity you can pick them up at most auto part stores their just called spark plug wire separators

Look closely at the back of each tail pipe and you'll be able to see which bank is missing
