I did all the upgrades and a 3d printed fan module. The one KS0 Pro I tested the 340gh overclocks on saw chip degradation fairly rapidly. I moved it back to 280gh which seems stable. That machine only gets 260gh now. I ran them in my garage when it was -5 degrees outside, so it shouldn't have been heat related. Seems like it could be frequency-related. I decided to keep all the rest of my KS0 Pros on the 280gh overclocks. I didn't put the bigger heat sinks on though... maybe that would have helped.
That's a pretty insane mod 🤯 I tuly admire Tswift mission to make the KS0 Pro great again lol I just hope the chips were initially designed to operate within that very high frequency & voltage range, probably not if you ask me lol Have a great weekend and keep on pushing those closed source hardware to the limits 🔥🚀
Great video as always, just wanted to find out whether you have ever experienced any of your Ks0-pro stop hashing every 20 hours?, mine reboot every 20 hours from the day I got it 10 days ago and Iceriver are not being helpful
How are you powering the KS0? I melted the hell out of my barrel connector. The problem was the ATX output is 12V vs the laptop PSU running at 19V. The drop in voltage ramps up the amperage, and the barrel connector can't handle it. I'm thinking about running a variable output (voltage wise) PSU
just run 2 units for 400+ gh at 200 watts. the overclock isnt power efficient. Its only worth doing if your not paying the electricity. End of the day though the deminishing rewards month on month and network hashrate increasing makes the ks0 pro almost redundant.
@@m1j9s79 i have, i bought a load at 3 cents. Mining it on a ks0pro makes no sense if you bought it this year. Im not misinformed at all. to many see the hype order a miner then by the time they receive it the golden opportunity has passed. They never factor in the monthly coin reward reduction, spend months recouping the miner cost waiting for the 10x 20x which would have netted them a truck load if they had just bought the coin way back.

I like the look of the 3d printed fan holder. I just got a stack boot at home depot and some metal tape.

Let's do this. I am working on in depth heat testing on ks0s
Awesome video ! Sweet setup.
I have a question...what does it mean "Board Temp(in)" and "Board Temp(out)" ? is temperature from where ? thanks
🔥🔥🔥🔥

what the blue heatsink size u use?
Do you happen to know the length and width dimensions of the thermal pads inside?

I'm using a msi 19v 230 watt laptop power supply. I don't like the idea of running 12v over the barrel jack, too many amps.
How didnyou attached the heat sink
great vid Mad 🍻
Can you put me in the right direction to get the shroud built
Hi, the discord link isn't working
Maaaaaaaaan I want one of those Mad Electron purple meter boxes so bad! I'm in south jersey throw me a touchdown lmao I got $$$

yeah especially if your mosfets blow
Your comment is so silly and misinformed. You have to take the price of kaspa into account.

I don't have a 3D printer. Anyone know of someone that will print a few. Willing to pay for their time and effort.
Hit me up on misfit mining discord in my room, I may be able to help. Link to misfit mining is in the video description.
