Thank you so much for the fantastic tour! It was fascinating to learn about your process for making the chocolate, and we enjoyed our purchases. Hope to stop by again in the near future!! :D
Big smile on my face as I relive our time at Daniel Johnson's on November 13, 2019!!! Absolutely in love with Sloth and Monkeys! We had the same tour guide!! Did you get a chance to meet Daniel? Great guy!
We have this exact cruise booked for APRIL!!! I am so excited!!! I have been watching every single post you have made!!! This will be my very first cruise!!! Any tips???
We are trying to figure out shore excursions. I really want to snorkel but not sure it would be the best experience. What do you suggest at all these ports? I heard her say at Mahogany Bay they are known for snorkeling and diving.
Both Mahogany Bay and Belize are known for decent snorkeling... Roatan has an area called Maya Key and Belize has Goff's Key, which are both nice if you can find them on an excursion!! :D
So I was wondering if the beach was still free. I knew last we was there we paid for the chair lift and it appears to sill be an option although it’s higher. We are going back there in March.
It really did! The sloths got to roam freely and live in the trees, you could tell that the monkeys seemed happy and well loved, and all the animals just looked really healthy. We really enjoyed our tour with Daniel Johnson’s!! :D
Do they let you customize the tour, or is there a regulated itinerary? My wife and I, as well as the rest of our party, will probably be doing this tour in February. Thanks!
Oh nice! The one we chose was the Hangout plus Island Tour, which was slightly customizable. I think they have a set list of places to go, but we were able to choose to stop at the chocolate place, and then they asked if we wanted to walk around that one shopping area and we said no so that we could have more beach time, hah... so they definitely adapted to suit what we wanted!! :D
We docked at the same dock we're used to in Mahogany Bay, which is Carnival Corp's private dock. I wonder if the new dock was being built over at the Coxen Hole port maybe? We've never gone into that one.
We loved it! We set it up directly with Daniel Johnson’s via their website, and it‘s $40 for the island tour option which included the Monkey and Sloth Hangout. Whoop whoop!! :D
For the animal encounter? No, we did not see an age limit like that. We had quite a few youngsters in the group we were in, probably five or six years old.
We set it up ahead of time with Daniel Johnson’s via their website. We haven’t gotten to the point yet where we walk into the ports and pick vendors on the spot. I like to do my research before hand and read reviews, ha ha… and they had great ones!! :D
Sounds much safer that way :O) At the risk of being an annoying newbie, do they take US dollars when you finish paying them or do you have to exchange money in advance?
Everywhere we’ve traveled so far accepts (and usually prefers) US currency. We’ll be in Martinique tomorrow aboard the Carnival Pride, and that’s the first port we’ve ever visited where they ask you to bring Euros.
I think this was our third or fourth visit to Mahogany Bay overall. It's a nice stop to have because you can always just chill at the free beach, which we've done a few times!! :D
I was wondering if you guys were cruise sellers , cuz I wanna go on a cruise I live in metairie 15 minutes from new Orleans ....where do yall live? Please let me know who to go threw if you guys dont sell cruises....thanks I also wanna say love your videos I watch them all the time you too are so fun to watch your goofy I love it yall have the same personality as I do lol well have a great time on your cruises and cant wait to see what your next videos have in store bye for now
Those animals are just too darn cute for words...hubby loves sloths. One day I would love to do this
Thank you guys for stopping in and sharing your experience with everyone! Come back soon and help us make more chocolate😁🍫
Thank you so much for the fantastic tour! It was fascinating to learn about your process for making the chocolate, and we enjoyed our purchases. Hope to stop by again in the near future!! :D
Those sloths were adorable. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
🥰 just so you know.....I say GOOD MORNING back to ya’ll with pretty much every intro 🤣
That was some award winning sloth, bird and monkey footage. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for part two. Thanks a whole bunch.
Those sloths! Soooo adorable!
Wow...they really built Roatan up! We went there on the Carnival Valor years ago and it looked nothing like this. Beautiful!
OMG! You and the sloth- precious!❤️ I love how the monkey searches your pocket for food. So cute!!
Hello Jay and Dee as always bringing sunshine to my life , am full time looking after elders so you are my channel to fun times , your the best 🥰🥰
Thank you for telling me where this was!! I really think Mojo needs some sloth and monkey brothers!!
WOW definitely doing the sloths on this years cruise. Thanks for sharing
The sloths were definitely a highlight of the cruise!! :D
That's adorable.
Big smile on my face as I relive our time at Daniel Johnson's on November 13, 2019!!! Absolutely in love with Sloth and Monkeys! We had the same tour guide!! Did you get a chance to meet Daniel? Great guy!
Ah, we didn't meet Daniel! But our guide was awesome, and that was too funny that it was his mother driving us around the island!! :D
Thanks for this one! That looks awesome!! I'll be there in February!
We have always done the free beach but this definitely looks like a fun option for our next visit to Roatan.
I’m happy y’all got to see the beauty that my country has to offer...I’ll be there next week on the Conquest! 🙌😎
We had such a fun day!! :D
@@parodeejay we were in west bay yesterday, in Belize now having a cold one.🍻.😁
We have this exact cruise booked for APRIL!!! I am so excited!!! I have been watching every single post you have made!!! This will be my very first cruise!!! Any tips???
Ah, we always just say get involved and have fun, ha ha... I can't think of any specifics for the Glory, but it was a fun ship!! :P
OMG thanks for posting this! Was looking at this same tour for us in July 2020!
We had such a great time with the animals there at Daniel Johnson's!! :D
OMG, to hold a sloth....I wanna! We held snakes, birds and had the monkeys on us in 2011 but not sloths. Might have to go back for that.
We had such a good time with the sloths... super cool day!! :D
We loved our Glory cruise and Roatan was our favorite excursion but we went to the beach via skylift.
Nice! We've hung out at that free beach every other time, but with the chair lift being $14 per person, we've always just chosen to walk it, ha ha...
Gonna follow the trend...Good Morning 👋🏽
Looks like the monkey liked Jay the most.

Yep yep, the beach is still free. Yeeeah, the $14 seems a little high for the chairlift for us, so we usually just walk over there, ha ha... :P
O good. Glad to hear.
I've always been hesitant to go to animals excursion, because you just don't know how they are cared for? Did it look like they are cared for well?
It really did! The sloths got to roam freely and live in the trees, you could tell that the monkeys seemed happy and well loved, and all the animals just looked really healthy. We really enjoyed our tour with Daniel Johnson’s!! :D

@@parodeejay Good to know! My wife did Gumbalimba park when she went with her mom, but when I told her about holding the sloths, she was set! :)
Awesome day
Did you all book the sloth experience through the cruise ship or book directly?
Directly through Daniel Johnson’s.
I would like to hug a koala bear there there so cute
Did you guys dock at the New dock there? When I was there there was another dock in construction.
We docked at the same dock we're used to in Mahogany Bay, which is Carnival Corp's private dock. I wonder if the new dock was being built over at the Coxen Hole port maybe? We've never gone into that one.
@@parodeejay were you guys in the port with ski lifts?
Yep yep, that's Mahogany Bay!!
What was the best sloth experience, Daniel Johnsons, AJs, or Boddens?
thanks for that video I would like to take this Island Tour" excursion.
We loved it! We set it up directly with Daniel Johnson’s via their website, and it‘s $40 for the island tour option which included the Monkey and Sloth Hangout. Whoop whoop!! :D
so cute
I want to see these guys I want to go to Roatan. I love birds and monkeys
We had such a fun day with the sloths, monkeys, and birds... such a cool place to visit!! :D
Was that excursion thru the cruise line? I am going there in 2021
No, we booked it straight through Daniel Johnson's. Such a fun day!! :D
Do you no if there was an age restriction like starting at 8 anything like that
For the animal encounter? No, we did not see an age limit like that. We had quite a few youngsters in the group we were in, probably five or six years old.
This is the exact thing I want to do when I go. So did you book with the driver in advance or did you just go to the Taxi area and find her?
We set it up ahead of time with Daniel Johnson’s via their website. We haven’t gotten to the point yet where we walk into the ports and pick vendors on the spot. I like to do my research before hand and read reviews, ha ha… and they had great ones!! :D

Was that the first time you were at roatan?
I think this was our third or fourth visit to Mahogany Bay overall. It's a nice stop to have because you can always just chill at the free beach, which we've done a few times!! :D
Just wondering how tall are you Mr. Jay?
I’m 6’5” and Dee is 6’0”.
La loco love recently posted a distant video too

Thanks so much! We aren't travel agents, no. We normally just go to the cruise line website and book directly. :D
Sloths and monkeys are cute but not sure I can have them on me
Oh dear. I do so dislike it when people do the sloth excursions. They are very very introverted animals and really should not be used like this.
