I’m so impressed with the quality of this footage. It would have helped prepare me for the boat dropping twice at the beginning of the ride. This vlog is superb. Thank you for uploading.
Thank you so much!! That really means the world to us! Stay tuned, because all of our deep dives are coming this month! how the line works and how easy or hard it is to get out of, what to expect on the ride, best times to go and any tips and hints we have from cast members! It's gonna be great!
@@NeuroDivDisney ❤️❤️❤️ You will be my eyes & ears. I’m a retired teacher with a fixed income. I don’t know if I’ll ever make it back to Disneyland, but I’ll travel along with you.
You got it! I'm sure you'll make it back, but until then, what ride would you like to do next? I'll do a special trip just for you. And if we've already done it, we'll do it again and make it better! Your wish is my command! 🏰
TBH, Disneyland has always dropped twice to get under the railroad tracks...I believe WDW drops only once for 14 feet. Disneyland drops twice. The first waterfall is 52′ long and drops 18 feet, the second is a little shorter, and drops 13 feet.
Absolutely! I totally agree, and throwing in Paul Frees' voice adds to the ultimate creepy factor. There's nothing quite like 1960s Disney pirates... An effort to get me to not lie as much when I was a child, my father told me that the phrase dead men tell no tales was specifically made to warn children that their parents will kill them if they lie. Nothing like generational trauma brought to you by animatronics....
I started out with a Google Pixel 6, then stepped up to a Soney ZV-1f (Which I still have and is for sale at a great price) and now shoot with a Sony ZV-E10 with an 11mm, f1.8 lens. It's the best setup yet! All footage is shot in HGL3 with 1.7 stops overexposed.

It used to only drop once!

4:21 I love how after this drop the atmosphere gets so much creepier. The "Dead Men Tell no Tales" is something out of a nightmare. I love this ride!
