  • When you're still the Administrator for a Wordpress Website, and your client/customer wants to be able to modify text or images; then it's not a bad idea to add some level of protection for both of you.
    1) Some changes could affect the Website's Responsiveness and Layout enough to cause issues - and this may result in time spent correcting. First, the Developer has to fix issues, and secondly, the Client may lose business due to the affected site.
    2) The Client may be overwhelmed by the Editing options - and all they ever wanted to do was change some Images and update the Text.
By using the Elementor Role Manager - you can limit what a client can do.

    Hello there, Imran!
Do you know of a way for preventing the containers' Style tab from being removed from the DOM when "Access to edit content only" is enabled?

Hello, first of all - amazing video. Thank you for explanation :) I have one question: Can editor duplicate section in elementor? Let's say I have a section with text and button with some link. Can editor duplicate that section and then change text and put some other link to the button?
    Thanks :)

Of course. Just click on the section and duplicate and then change the content. Editors can do that.
If you don’t want them to edit the layout - then they may need just author access. They could provide the required link in their content.

Hi, thanks for the great instructional video! Quick question on this: Is there any way to limit access to roles with the free version of Elementor?

Thank you so much for this video. Is there an advanced video that shows the advanced custom fields and how to white list WordPress and Elementor like you mentioned?
