I know it's probably a pain in the ass to make these, but I love the long platinum playthroughs you do. The way it's more of a recap of your experience rather than a several part playthrough is unique and fun.
Ohhhh, Ryan. There were *far* too many perfect moments in this video, from the Nemesis victory to the tentacles shooting out of the astronaut to your "everybody gangster" joke, but the "malignant island" line had me pausing and cracking up. It's crazy to see that after 60 hours in Returnal you still got malfunctions I have never experienced, as well as the room in Derelict Citadel with multiple Severed. This game is wild. I must go back in.
My PS5 is being delivered tomorrow with Spider-Man MM, I can’t wait! Been trying for months to get one in the UK. I finally got lucky at last. My advice to anyone trying to get hold of a ps5 is keep trying. I was about to give up myself. I guess the RNG gods finally smiled upon me. BTW Ryan you’re the best no fanboy nonsense PlayStation centric content creator on RUclips in my humble opinion. Keep up the great work my friend. 👍

as a fellow trophy hunter myself hearing that even new trophy lists are still glitching out is so disappointing and scary lmao. i went through the Avengers platinum TWICE (still recovering from that one) because multiplayer bugged my trophies from completing the first time :-(
The musical scores are relaxing/techno intense. Pretty relaxing for anything PS5 gaming lol 😆. But....... Ryan, for real...of all the games, you pick this for a trophy hunt!

platin yesterday after 60-70h. after you learn the game mechanics you are untouchable, its almost easy. the first 10h i wanted to throw it out of the window.
When you track a trophy, an update for the game you play may mess up that tracking and end you up with a glitched trophy.. This happens a lot in many games.
I guess it's different for everyone. Only one boss trophy glitched for me. Just had to beat that boss again for it to pop. Now I need 2 more survey trophies then I'll have the plat.
You had almost 30 ethers why weren't you cleaning the malignant items that is the whole purpose of ether and why to save up ether. That way you can make your health bar huge save up 30 then when on good run cleanse the malignant health
i'm so glad I had this game in the backlog after it came out. I just got the platinum about a week ago so all the glitches were ironed out. Took me about 84 hours.
My guy Mystic almost got through all of the game with zero deaths. The number of times you died are really crazy. It's like you had easy mode when you put your runs next to mine hahaha. You have some skills dude.
Last month I done Mein Leben (Permadeath ) earned my 95 Platinum in Wolfenstein 2 which is a 10/10 difficulty rating. That & Cod Cold War were my hardest ones.
I'm going for the platinum myself but having some trouble with the collectibles, I literally have one or two left in 5 of the biomes, I'll keep persevering!
Awesome video was completing the game as I was watching your playthrough and it was a great experience. I never really branch out on my gaming genres but now I think I will have to start checking out different games.
I got my 38hr save wiped with the faulty 1.3.3 patch so I had to fresh start and got my Platinum after another 38 hours. The game is good though, I'm glad my trophies didn't bug out after everything. The rng trophies is by far the most ridiculous thing about trophy hunting in Returnal (outside of bugged trophies)
When I popped the platinum for this the feeling I got from it being over and just staring at my TV I felt just like her doing the same thing over and over for 40-50 hours was a feeling ill never forget
@@zolli21 His face by the end of the repeated running was exactly it. And I also felt like one more fight or new biome for Act 3 wouldve made the whole thing perfection
I got all trophies except the survey trophies. Between crashes, corrupt saves, and trophy progress not tracking properly, I threw in the towel. It blows my mind that there isn't any in-game tracking for survey items. Maybe I'll attempt it again in a year or so when Housemarque gets their shit together. It's a real shame because I really, REALLY enjoyed the game otherwise.
You had the same experience with Phrike as I did. I beat it on my first try but I thought I had died only for the astronaut to save me, and I barely saw it through. Same thing on the second boss. Third and fourth bosses were easier, I didn't even need the astronaut for them. I haven't actually fully died on any bosses yet, will see how the fifth one goes.
I have a few remaining ciphers to find in a few biomes, and it gets to be too much of a grind after have to play the biomes over and over and over again in hopes that I get them. Fantastic game though. Still can't get to the door on the cliff by the ship. Hopefully that's a DLC door for later down the road.

I Got the Plat with 58 Deaths, got a lot of frustration because of how the game works, for example this one time i had to close the game during a very nice run with a really op gun and my Dad had to turn off the power to fix the Attic light system, so i had no other choice of losing all my progress, i got to 4th boss and had a decent amount of ether , also had the astronaut doll and full bar heal, with a very large bar of health, tbh i was like screw this game im not going to plat this, but you know what? The game is amazing, and the mental reward you get for beating it, its nothing i have ever felt before, cause this isnt a Dark Souls or a Sekiro because there is no Checkpoints like in those games, yes you have the checkpoints in the game and the permanent one in the middle but its like you die you start again its a like Reset in your hard earned process, this would work better if it had a Save progress until you actually die, for example you have a very nice run you save it you turn off the console go to sleep next day you start from where you were, but as soon as you die you start again, that would make more sense imo.
Yeah, I really hope Sony has some plans to revamp/fix the card system, amongst some of the trophy list UI and being able to see my friends activities. Really enjoyed seeing which trophies my friends were earning and what they were playing. Great video!
Love the gameplay...due to the game with so many lights flashing like this...I know I will pass on this game...all though the game is gonna be great...not that I don't like the game...it's due to my seizures...great video and keep up the great job...👍
I have had issues with trophies too. I turn off my ps5 every day before going to bed. And once I turn it on and launch the game I’ll get trophies. It has happen with other games as wel.
I gave up on plat for Returnal sadly. My boss trophys took multiple attempts but eventually popped, however the 30 weapon proficiency and the survey trophies just won't pop excluding 1 (fracturing wastes). I refuse to reset and start the entire game over from scratch for the damn surveys

Mafia 3 platinum has probably got the most glitchy trophies from all games I played, with some having you to play the whole game altogether in one sitting since it will fail to recognise you completed a mission
This is definitely a tedious platinum, and so far, two of my trophies glitched...defeatin’ the second boss and doin’ a daily challenge. I did them both over again for the trophies to pop. The only trophies I need are the cleanup Survey trophies for Biome 2, 3, 4, and 5, and the RNG aspect of it is luck based as hell. I have like six Xenoglyph ciphers in Biome 2 until completion [can’t find them anywhere], I think two more to find in 3 [my activity card stopped trackin’ it], I can’t remember what I have to get for the fourth a fifth, but it pains me that I might not have the patience.

Other than the tracking for achievements not working, I still haven’t been able to avenge anyone sadly. Hope they patch all this soon but I’ll still enjoy the game thoroughly
I had a glitched trophy on Just Cause 3, where if you get all the collectibles before beating the game, you can’t get the trophy of liberating all of the final province, since collectibles are connected with taking out the outposts. really sucked

i had no issues. i did not put the game in rest mode and i did not use activity cards though. maybe that makes a difference

Currently finishing my platinum on Returnal, I'm at the whim of the rng system and its making me MANIC!!!...
Trying to plat Trove right now . Oh man, Grind at its finest ( probrably around 200hrs )

It took me over three days to draw the room I needed for the ONE last desert cipher. But so glad none of my trophies glitched. Wouldve been so pissed!
yea the xenoglyph cyphers for the trophy are ass. Took me repeated runs for me to finally get one in abyssal scar for the platinum.

They made the trophies easier to get thanks to the update so no need to rely on rng for scout logs and ciphers.

I got biome 2 left for the survey ones. Then I gotta replay the game again because the house sequences bugged for me
you mean like erase your save file to start over? if so: dont. housemarque said that another patch is incoming. that might fix it.

I just need scout log 9 for the platinum and it simply won't drop after hours of grinding binome 1
