You should do another video with this format but for video games! The themes could be stuff like menu songs, water levels, shop themes, first levels, final levels, etc.
Out of 27 im surprised I got 24! I only really missed one song from each in which I couldn’t remember the names of the songs but I got all three themes relatively easily! Love the concept and definitely wanna see more of this!!
9/15. Only recognized the wedding march round one, but assumed theme was weddings/marriage and got that. Round 2 I got the 1812 and TNT, and correctly guessed explosivions. Round 3 the only one I missed was Adelle and got the theme of telephone right. Overall fun but man do I suck at recognizing pop music from the late 2000s onward.
I got 18. I got Marry You and Wedding March, but couldn’t piece together that it was about marriage in time. I got 1812 Overture, TNT, Taio Cruz’s Dynamite, and the connection of explosives. I got Call Me, Pay Phone, Call Me Maybe (seriously how could I not get that one, it was all over the internet about a decade ago), and the connection of phones.
it’s more about knowing the titles of the songs which have similar themes in them, but the songs themselves are thematically different sounding entirely.
Thank you for putting this together, I had fun guessing and even more fun showing my it yo my dad who hardly knew any of the new pieces...he sometimes still got the theme right!
At first I didn't understand the rules, but after the first round, I suddenly got it. Anyway I only got the second and third rounds since I only recognized Wedding March in the first round, whereas I understood the connection in round 2 from the first 2 songs and knew all four in round 3
I like this format. I got 14 points. R1 I knew Taylor Swift - Love Story, Mendelssohn - Wedding March and the Theme is Marriage R2 I only knew BTS - Dynamite R3 I knew Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe and the Theme is Phones
Wow. I could guess only wedding march. I think I will have to work a bit more my musical culture to deserve being one of your subscribers. Awesome video as always of course.
That's similar to the 1st round in the Show "Only Connect" (a genius show). You have up to 4 clues and have to guess what they have in common. Unfortunately musical clues are quite rare. Round 2 would be a sequence; you have 1-3 clues and have to guess what the 4th one would be. e.g. #1: G, #2: D, #3: A, #4: ?? #4 would then be E (sequence in the circle of fifths)
@@chesspiece589 Long story short and to avoid spoilers, it's a comic series which got turned into a movie in which a climactic scene regarding explosives plays the 1812 overture and said explosives occur in time with the song
round three was an instant giveaway not ashamed to say I've listened to all of these songs but the first swift song, round 2 I was thinking victory overture threw me off round one I was thinking love
Day 977 (2 years and 247 days): please, can I kindly suggest you to arrange *EMERALD ESCAPADE* a.k.a. ULTRA MANIA by mashed? It would be really cool! Thank you!
I feel awkward for having recognized a couple of these, but only for their Minecraft Parodies, but I'm hey, I'm still going to count them towards my total points. I got 3/4 every round.
SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT READ THIS COMMENT UNTIL AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEO! This was really cool! 25/27. Not honestly that hard to guess the theme once you figured out two of the songs, but amazing that you found ways to connect totally disparate songs such as the William Tell Overture (1812 Overture) and AC/DC's TNT. I would really love to see another of these!
Only knew 1 in 4 songs, although I was able to guess two of the categories from the three songs I did know. I was close in guessing fireworks/4th of July with the 1812 Overture.
Got like 4 songs but guessed all the themes. The last song from round 1 gave a marriage type of vibe. TNT and the two dynamites were obvious and I got payphone and call me maybe.
23/27, I knew the names of most of the songs except R1#2, R2#1, R2#4, R3#1. The themes were given away with 2 of the songs. Luckily in round 2 the songs that I knew were literally "TNT" and "Dynamite" so there wasn't much wiggle room there. Fun little challenge
OH, THAT DEFINITION OF THEME! I thought you meant for a TV show! Song 2 in the first theme sounded like a much slower version of "The Office" U.S. theme.
I got all the themes even if I didn't quite get all the songs. Had a loty of fun though. Felt like I was on a segment of 'Spicks n Specks' or 'Nevermind the Buzzcocks.'
Day 15 (give or take): Could you please do "Weight of the World" from NieR: Automata? Or maybe even the End of YoRHa version as a "gets harder and harder" video?
21...but not the artists in that, wasn't thinking of them. got all the themes, marry you, wedding march, 1812 overture, dynamite taio, payphone, and call me maybe.
The first one is marriage (I think i wanna marry you. Marriage song) The marriage song kinda gave it away the second one is something to do with explosives (Dynamite. Dynamite) The third one is
Round 1: 1. idk but i heard this song in the background at a bowling alley once 2. idk 3. idk 4. this is that one song but i forget the name of ltierally everything Theme: love?? they sound like love songs Round 2: 1. yes i know this song its that one- i forgot the name again bruh 2. idk 3. idk 4. ive heard this song at some point? Theme: no idea Round 3: 1. idk but i think i heard it as some point in some building and it has the words "call me" in it 2. no idea 3. that one song that goes hello from blah blah balh 4. it definitely says "call me" Theme: calls - phones? same thing.
Round 1 Number 3 is Marry You by Bruno Mars Round 2 Number 2 is TNT by AC/DC Round 3 Number 2 is Payphone by Maroon 5 Round 3 Number 3 is Hello by Adele Round 3 Number 4 is Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen

Cool system, I had a lot of fun with it! (A part 2 sometime would be cool)
I agree, I wasn't able to guess all the songs but I got every theme. Cool introduction to em.
Nice pfp
Pt 2 and 3 are out btw
You should do another video with this format but for video games! The themes could be stuff like menu songs, water levels, shop themes, first levels, final levels, etc.
I agree
That’s what I thought this was at first
I only got round 2. This was fun! Hope to see more videos like this with more rounds to play along!
What makes this whole thing harder is it isn’t the song, it’s on a piano, it is harder to make out what it is
I clicked,
I listened,
I guessed... horribly wrong.
Out of 27 im surprised I got 24! I only really missed one song from each in which I couldn’t remember the names of the songs but I got all three themes relatively easily! Love the concept and definitely wanna see more of this!!
This was really fun! I'd love more of them. Wasn't familiar with a couple of the songs unfortunately, so 25 points in total.
Bro, that's 2 away from perfect score, good game
@@SpectreLgs Thank you! I was really lucky that I knew most songs to be honest.
@@SpectreLgs yeah couple of the songs lol
Nah..... I only got 21 points 😓😭
I got them all by the second song lol. This was super fun!
Had a lot of fun with this format, loved the twist on the regular "Guess the song". Looking forward for more
11/27 - 6 songs, 1 theme
That was a fun game.
R1: Recognized Love Story and the Wedding March, and I knew it had to do with Love/Marriage
R2: Perfect
R3: Perfect
This is really enjoyable, I especially liked TNT and Dynamite from the 2nd one!
I was able to get all three themes even though I knew only 4 songs in total. This was really nice and hopefully you have more ideas like this :)
This is so creative! Please do more!
9/15.
Only recognized the wedding march round one, but assumed theme was weddings/marriage and got that.

You would have gotten 21/27 then, guessing the theme counts for 5 points.
@@keithwiechart7744 Oh, that's not so bad then. xD
23 points, would love a part 2

I was thinking, the last theme could've had an Over The Horizon tune from Samsung, they often go big on the music piece every year.
Oh no, it’s the dreaded music question
10 points. Hope thats a lot
Wow that was really entertaining! It's a really cool new concept guys!
Bro makes us tutorials, memes, song lists, challenges. Truly remarkable.
MAKE MORE OF THESE.
I heard the Bruno Mars one and... I guessed the Victorious theme song.
I correctly guessed what the 4th song was in rounds two and three before they even came up just based on what I assumed the theme was lol
I'm proud to say I recognized both 2 and 3 in their entirety. Themes and everything.

1.4 Mendelson wedding march
2.1 Overture 1812 Tchaikovsky
