As for my fav freshies this summer, you can tell that I was mega influenced by top 10s back in 2014/15 😂😂 - Versace Pour Homme - Prada Amber Pour Homme (AMAZING fragrance imho... tons of subtle facets that create a beautiful scent) - Mugler Cologne (For when I want a "sugar-free" scent) - Perry Ellis 360' Red (It took me 6~ years, but I appreciate this cologne so much now! Invigorating way to start a day, with that superb spiced citrus!) - Maurer & Wirtz Tabac EdC (One of my fav finds of 2020 -- this scent profile is timeless, and reminds me of my grandpa, and it just makes me super fkn happy. Awesome soapy-fresh, nostalgic scent)

I was recently in NY and while I am there I bought a bottle of Nautica Voyage so that I could have something that I could keep at my wife's apartment for those hot, humid days where I might want to go out for a walk but don't want to smell damp and sweaty 1 hour into said walk, and I have to say it worked perfectly (we are doing the long distance thing for now but I will move up there soon). My shirts still smelled fresh the day after. I am back at my house now though and here I am wearing Encre Noire Sport which I acquired, in no small part, based on your recommendation. I had smelled the original Encre Noire and liked it and what do you know, I like the sport even better. It feels very "modern-classy" to me, and I have been enjoying it a lot.

Yes I can't agree more, Nautica Voyage is one of my recommended "high heat" fragrances because it doesn't dog out in performance or choke you out - and man does it last a while on clothing (thanks to aroma chem)! A guy on ebay was selling a 1st formulation .and 1st formulation of drakkar.i guess so many wanted it he decanted the drakkar sold 2 mls for 12$ i got 2 . and god its different.and better

These could be the scent of your youth, a family member, fragrance you were wearing when you met a special someone, a special era in your life etc. No limit to choices and doesn't even have to be something you wear anymore, it just pulls at the heart strings and will always hold a special place. Interesting choices, none of my favorite freshies were included though :) Freshies for life for me would be just the fragrances I like the most for warm weather, the best refreshing feel. I would not have the "blue" factor as criteria. In general I don't like aquatics much, but love citrics, specially grapefruit. And I'm on the mature side. I think Dior Homme Sport 2017 is a pretty good freshie especially for school and outdoor events. Currently im wearing Bleu De Chanel Parfum for the night out since around here is a perfect 68.

I’ve been noticing a lot of love for the recent Chrome flankers. I haven’t tried any of them since the original many years ago. May need to revisit them. I don’t think the Y line gets enough love. It’s not your typical blue. Love the entire line. SOTD is Y eau fraiche.

Firstly, SOTD L'Artisan Parfumuer Timbuktu Secondly, from the list, I've tried samples of Versace Dylan Blue, D&G Light Blue Eau Intense, Prada L'homme and YSL Y EDP. Out of the 4, Y EDP is the best smelling, as well as a compliment getter/head turner (one co-worker enthusiastically said, "Bryant, you're wearing that good stuff!").
Gotta love the 'good stuff!' :) Timbuktu rates up there as well...it's a solid 4+ out of I think around 3k votes on Fragrantica last I remember - great presentation and scent!

Haha...I literally had the Kenzo Pour Homme EDT and EDP delivered a few days ago - it's on my list to review very soon so keep on the lookout and I'll do an unboxing, in-depth first impressions! I will tell you this, the EDT came as a tester (so of course I opened it and tried it...so a true first impressions vid is impossible...)....and it's got that old school vibe, but is really really good for an older fragrance, can't wait to try out the EDP

Luckily, I have the entire Aqva line besides Amara in those cute 30 mL standup bottles. Amara is still a pebble, but since us OCD fragheads always aim the atomizer to the front (admit it) it can be an easy oversight. No worries Tommy. 😂 Blue Astral was a nice change up! I’ve been noticing a lot of love for the recent Chrome flankers. I haven’t tried any of them since the original many years ago. May need to revisit them. I don’t think the Y line gets enough love. It’s not your typical blue. Love the entire line. SOTD is Y eau fraiche.

Secondly, from the list, I've tried samples of Versace Dylan Blue, D&G Light Blue Eau Intense, Prada L'homme and YSL Y EDP. Out of the 4, Y EDP is the best smelling, as well as a compliment getter/head turner (one co-worker enthusiastically said, "Bryant, you're wearing that good stuff!").
Gotta love the 'good stuff!' :) Timbuktu rates up there as well...it's a solid 4+ out of I think around 3k votes on Fragrantica last I remember - great presentation and scent!

Haha...I literally had the Kenzo Pour Homme EDT and EDP delivered a few days ago - it's on my list to review very soon so keep on the lookout and I'll do an unboxing, in-depth first impressions! Probably within the next week! I will tell you this, the EDT came as a tester (so of course I opened it and tried it...so a true first impressions vid is impossible...)....and it's got that old school vibe, but is really really good for an older fragrance, can't wait to try out the EDP

Splash Just filmed unboxing and first impressions...will drop in prob 24 hours but let me just say...,you GOTTA get that Kenzo Homme EDP! Man. It’s like a richer, darker, more complex Invictus Aqua. A little. But then it’s definitely it’s own thing. Was inspired by Kenzo Pour Homme EDT but bares only a passing resemblance to this fougere.

I can vouch for Mugler cologne, great for the heat when you don’t want to choke out nearby people or you are in a situation we’re you don’t want to come across as trying to hard and just want to smell clean.
