But the cover doesn’t come off - it just partially unzips. What if you’re going somewhere hot?

It does come off completely, just move the zippers all the way around

Really awful design the clamps at the bottom don’t work when you push them. The clips at the top they don’t show you were they are in the video your expected to just find them as the lady in the video covers them up as she is doing it. I’m one hour into doing this and I’m losing my head here. I’m displeased with this product don’t buy you will be frustrated get it as a stroller not recommended with the bassinet
Edit smack the clips at the bottom with a hammer and it came off just a tip if you need it

The hammer is a great tip.
If you take an old school pencil with an eraser, flip it over, and hammer the lead side, the clamp will pop off pretty quickly

What a crap design... sold to us as the easiest stroller ever. In reality, when trying to change to the cot, nothing worked like in this video (which is crap too btw). Those bottom clasps were made by Lucifer himself. Thank goodness for the good people commenting here with tips to get the clasps open. Don't even get why you can't just buy the frame with the cot and no stroller, obviously that's the 1 you're going to need first... sick of all these 'designy' baby products that require a terrible RUclips tutorial and 2 hours of frustration. Should've gone with the Yoyo.......
