To get this kind of work out takes incredible time and effort and endeavour and heart. And I'm just beaming with my whole heart being able to see it in theatre.
Others have already commented on how great this movie is and how it's going to be one of the most memorable trilogies of all time but I just have to say: this was such a lovely love letter for us "old timers" who grew up watching the old spiderman cartoons. Felt like i was a kid all over again eagerly waiting on a saturday morning to see what's gonna happen next. Truly a treat for the eyes and soul!
Totally ! Seeing OG Spiderman from the 60's, even for just a second, was such a blast ! Kinda surprised they didn't include the 90's animated Spiderman, as he's the most iconic AND the one who actually kickstarted this whole Spiderverse thing.
The film was pure art for me. Also, so glad Daniel Kaluuya name dropped "Black Mirror". His episode was probably my favorite out of all, so proud to said I'm a fan of him before Get Out.
This was the greatest movie of the year. Hope everyone who worked on it, from voice acting to writing to editing to background animators is beyond proud of themselves and understand that their efforts were 100% worth it and appreciated. It just gets better with every watch.
The ending with the power soundtrack was *chef's kiss* ... I was excited until the end and got tricked into thinking they were going to finish everything in 1 go (aka this movie)
Sony couldn't have cast a better Miles Morales. They found the perfect actor in Moore. His voice with Morales' visuals are a match made in movie cinema heaven. Moore not only got and thoroughly understood the assignment but he totally annihilated it!

But also This Movie's Story is so Perfect too! Miles Morales is One Of My Favorite Characters of All Time and He is Incredible in This Movie!!! And Gwen was very central to The Story and was Fantastic too! And Spider-Man 2099 Was Awesome As Well! The Animation was Beautiful too!!! This Movie Is Incredible!!! I LOVED IT SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!! I Can't Wait For The Next One!!! Especially after That Cliffhanger!!! 10/10!!!
I can understand why Daniel thinks the montage music from 15 Million Merits was from Moon - it has a very similar piano motif to Clint Mansell's score but it was done especially for the episode by Stephen McKeon. Fun fact Clint Mansell did the score for San Junipero.
Does Shameik do a special voice for Miles ? Because his speaking voice seems entirely different from that which is in the film. He speaks in a noticeably higher voice and enunciates more. A lot of celebrity voice actors just use their normal speaking voice - but it does seem like Shameik made a special voice just for Miles. Maybe I am imagining things ?
*spoiler alert* Unpopular opinion: Miles actually didn't deserve the spider bite. Someone else worked for it and mf just enjoying it without gratitude. The thing that made him totally different from other spiderman is, after knowing spot made it possible yet his narcissistic, selfish, arrogant a$$ was in total denial about the spiderpower's rightful owner. He was ranting, it was his own power!!! What an ahole!!!. Spot's character development is incredible. Gradually Miles's ego and not giving a f#ck attitude towards him made Spot more powerful.
Just watched it and I have no doubt this is going to end up as the greatest trilogy of all time.
