    Everyone is mad because (Shes complaining about a nice hotel, etc.) I kinda get it.. Pictures online can really rip you off! When you pay a lot of money for a hotel, you expect a NICE HOTEL!? I would say that most of you just say mean stuff because "Shes acting spoiled" When reality is... Trisha obviously has money, she can afford a nice hotel! I'm not trying to be rude.. because I have only been to one hotel (it SUCKED) and our family doesn't have a lot of money.. What i'm trying to say is, When you have money, and you have a nice lifestyle, you can spend more money on nice things... 500 bucks on a room! I would expect it to be nice!

    For someone who stays in hotels a lot, you don't know how to handle yourself. Girl, I would have caused a big stink that night, had my room comped and found somewhere else to stay first thing the next morning. Hell, with this room, even a Motel 6 would have been better. I can understand putting up with it if it were a cheap room (which I still wouldn't have), but not at over $500 a night! Hell nah! U must be trippin'!

    People who are telling her she is spoiled and disrespectful are either too young to comprehend what quality is or are not experienced staying in 4+ star hotels. When you pay 500 plus for a room it should exceed expectations. When you pay for quality you expect to get it. If she would've payed 100 for the room then okay. But she payed a lot more in order to get something nice and didn't receive it. It's a "first world problem" but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a right to be upset about wasting her hard earned money, I know I would!

    last year my family went on a vacation to chattanooga tennessee for my sisters softball world series. i believe we stayed at the marriot, but i can't be positive. so we get there from an eight hour drive and walk into our room, and what do we see? a dildo. yes. no joke. the bed sheets were thrown all around the room, and everything was a disaster. so imagine my family, five kids under 16, (one of which was FOUR at the time) walking in and seeing that. the management came in and cleaned everything up, la-dee-da, everything was good. the next day, we came back from a minor league baseball game and non of our keys were working. inside the room was my 15 year old sister. she had had a allergic reaction to something earlier, so she stayed in the room while we were at the game. she had taken allergy medication and it knocked her out, so she couldn't hear us pounding on the door. my dad went down to get the management, and when they came up they tried their key and it didn't work either. so they had to call a repair technician who took over an hour to show up. he took apart the entire electric lock, and got it working again, but we were all fuming. the management was kind about it, they gave us a two bedroom suite and a basket full of goodies. they even went as far as to get nesquik chocolate milk for my four year old sister that was crying for "chocolate milky" while we were waiting for the door to the old room to unlock. so that was by far the worst hotel experience i have ever had.

    • @mikaylabyrnes5377
      @mikaylabyrnes5377 9 лет назад +4

      i understand we are very fortunate that we got to stay in a hotel, but we in no way over reacted. there was a fucking dildo lying on the floor. there is no way to "overreact" to that. and i would appreciate it if you didn't call me names that my five year old sister uses :)

      Ftttma Alllt umm im overreacting? your calling someone a "dummy" for sharing their hotel experience. that what trisha was doing, so i thought i would share mine. i personally laugh when i think back to vacation. great memories. but really, i have a question. how old are you? nine? because surely someone older than that would realize that 1. you have no idea what i look like, so how in the world do you know if i have a "stupid ugly face and a dumb smile" ? you have no idea what i look like. 2. your telling me im overreacting, then your over here telling me i have a stupid ugly face because my family wasnt happy too happy about our hotel experience. mhm. and just so you know, half of your comment made almost no sense.

    • @mikaylabyrnes5377
      @mikaylabyrnes5377 9 лет назад +3

      Ftttma Alllt again, most of this comment made no sense. do you know what hotel i stayed at? i said i THINK it was the marriot, but i also said i wasn't sure. again, you have absolutely no clue what i look like. for all you know, i could be one of the prettiest girls in the world. (not saying i am, because i am not, im just trying to prove a point). and you know, i could make immature comments about you, but i dont like to make fun of people, and bring down their self-estem. and i cant really understand your comment, but you did say in a previous comment that i have a stupid ugly face and a dumb smile, so hun, dont deny it :)

    • @mikaylabyrnes5377
      @mikaylabyrnes5377 9 лет назад +3

      Ftttma Alllt well, first of all, i am a confident person, so your words mean nothing to me. after all, you have never seen my face. and how awful that you purposely want to hurt someones feelings. you have a rotten soul, and that's not my opinion, its a fact. and actually, i have many people in my life that love me. my guess is, your saying all these things about me because you feel self conscious about your self, so you resort to bullying. and yes, what you are doing is bullying. cyber-bullying. which, if you didn't know, is illegal. don't deny it. anyone can read these comments and be able to tell that you have a very bitchy attitude and started a huge fuss out of nothing, and began bullying me on my looks when you have never seen me. that still confuses me. i can't call you ugly, because i have never seen you. you can't truthfully call me ugly, because you have never seen me. [just incase you were wondering, 'ugly' is a physical trait, and since you have not seen my physical appearance, 'ugly' in that sense is not a trait that you can describe me with.] i sincerely hope that one day you will be confident in your own skin, so that you don't have to bully someone who you have never laid eyes on.

    Disclaimer for people looking around for an upcoming trip to NYC:
    -NYC is super expensive to stay in.Especially, if you want to be in the city,where all the action/tourist stuff goes on.
    -NYC has THE SMALLEST rooms of anywhere I've ever stayed (with the exception of some places in Europe)
    -If you're coming with more than 2 people, you need to book 2 rooms. Most rooms with 2 beds are doubles.. Not comfortable for 2 people at all. -A standard room is SMALL!It's fine for 2, but more comfortable for 1.
    -If you have kids, you need to get a suite (or a 2nd room). I booked what I thought would work, a standard room, with 2 double beds for around $500/night. It was myself & 2 teenagers. I quickly realized it wouldn't work. The hotel found me a suite that would be able to have roll aways, so we could at least have 3 beds. It was gorgeous but it was close to $800//night. After the outrageous taxes, hotel fees, etc.. I think my final bill was around $7800-$8,000 for 5 or 6 nights. (can't remember specifics)
    -A standard room in a Luxury hotel around the US, is around 400-500 sq feet. A standard hotel at a Luxe hotel in NYC is around 240-250 sq feet. Prices are 2-3x that of most major cities.
    *(I'm a hotel snob, so stay at 4★ hotels & above~ Not proud of it, but..it's who I am!👻 & I'm finding out my children have taken on this trait🙊) So, these are just my observation & experiences/opinions~*
    Andaz:
    We stayed at the Hyatt-Andaz on Water/Wall, so it was away from the hustle & bustle, but close to the river & what we were in town for. I was trying to find somewhere where walking to things would be an option. It was great to walk along the river daily. It's definitely the business part of town, so it's all suits, deli's & gets pretty quiet at night. We did have to take taxi's to get to the parts of the city where touristy things were happening, but were actually able to turn off & relax at night. Plus, the 1st night we were there we found the best italian restaurant close to the hotel to-go, so that ended up being our go-to😜, many nights.
    One of the most awesome things about the Andaz boutique brand Hyatt has created, is they have a deluxe mini-bar, with FREE unlimited snacks! They also have an area in the hotel where there's free continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day & wine at night. All complimentary & unlimited. This is KEY when traveling with hungry, cranky teens! Snacks for kids, wine for Mom= PERFECTION!
    I think Trisha was young & inexperienced here. What she experienced is VERY standard for NY. Plan ahead, make sure whatever you budget, you triple.. because that's what you'll end up spending!💞

That's how so many people are able to live there. My aunt has an apartment that's 600 square feet for $2300. And it's government stabilized rent and not in a nice neighborhood. She's not being spoiled, its small and expensive, but that's just how new York is.

      No. This should be illegal. I work at one of the most popular high end hotels in the city and our cheapest rooms r bigger than that and prettier and in a way cooler neighborhood. That's an insane price for value of room, location, brand... Even during holidays.

    • @emmalazzer7344

      Ahhh, but most hotels actually have discounts around Christmas due to how many people are booking. Much cheaper than $500, and more space than this room. Yes even around Christmas time.

If i was you i'd email the manger and complain that it's not safe and you'd like some of your money back or soemthing. There's nothing wrong with sounding like a bitch it's your money and the service wasn't what you'd except.

    People, it's New Years Eve IN New York City. I'm surprised it wasn't even more expensive. If you go to the hotel's website you can see what normal rates are when it's not one of the busiest night's of the year. And to their credit, the desk person did warn her about the heat. Yes, no one could possibly image the degree the warmth got to, but they were honest. I think that gives them a star for quality personnel.

    I stayed in a room only slightly bigger than this one at the same hotel with my boyfriend a couple years ago. Same decor, same bathroom. Same sink. I remember the mirror being over the toilet too. (All her makeup was on the desk, she obviously didn't do her makeup in the bathroom anyway.)
    Showers without the second door are pretty much standard at this point. I've stayed in about 10 hotels in the last couples years that had the same half-glass-door-half-open style. It's so common, I'm surprised that she was surprised at it. It's a) less material so it's b) less expensive to put in or maintain and c) it's nice not having a gross door to slide or open and take up more space. You just walk right out when you're done. It's not a problem.
    One last thing. It's New Year's in NYC. The hotel is the last thing I'm worried about. You're only there to sleep or fuck. Who cares as long as it's safe and there's a bed to lay on??

How dare they charge you over $500 for that room.

      As much as I agree with what you're saying, there's a chance that every other hotel in the area was booked because of it being around the holidays OR could be the area she needed/wanted. With that being said, PERSONALLY I wouldn't care (and especially after seeing the blood) my arse would be on the next taxi outta there! WITH my money!!! :)

  • @SallyMichelle97
    @SallyMichelle97 8 лет назад +3

    lol I'm from England and yes in places like Dubai where there is plenty of space I've stayed in some large hotel rooms but everything about that room is just like a normal priced hotel in the UK! Space is a luxury and if you're that bothered about it than pay the extra money for it! I agree 500 dollars is a lot per night but it was NYE which is like the most expensive time to stay in a hotel so there you go. Also the location is on point. You can get massive rooms in hotels in Brooklyn for cheap because it's about the area as well. But there is literally nothing wrong with that hotel room, especially considering you didn't see roaches or have bedbugs there! I've read some pretty horrific reviews about hotels in NYC but this isn't one of them!

You are supposed to get what you pay for, and her entire point was that it wasn't as good as she expected. That bathroom is ridiculously tiny, and the fact that the bed was dirty is unacceptable.
