      thanks Fazz, I've already got 3 videos that will show you how to remove the dash or most of it anyway. here's the link to the first 1 ruclips.net/video/4C7TFUrhZDM/видео.html
      If you're talking about the a/c cabin filter, you don't need to remove the dash, you only need to drop the glove box down, remove 2 screws and pull it out. It's worth doing if your a/c fan is not blowing out much air. it may be blocked. I've touched on this one in a few vids but don't remember which ones. I can do a specific one for you if you'd like

    There are two screws you need to remove there are were the warning triangles are, and the middle section trim where the handle is, it’s been held by 4 screws , 2 which is you mentioned and 2 are been held underneath the top trim section which you have to remove to get access and the remove the door handle screws. I did undo the whole trim and started from top. It’s easier if you do have trim removal tools as those pop rivets are easier to remove rather than pulling on the panel.

    • @jaysukhlaljesani5959
      @jaysukhlaljesani5959 3 года назад

      I have removed the whole trim 3 parts of it. There are 4 screws holding the middle sections the two you showed, the two are on top which is been overlaps by top trim sections.

    Mr Denmonkey, I have a problem with my NX Pajero with the rear door catch getting stuck and not being able to open the rear door. As you probably know on the NX there is no internal door release handle on the rear door (thanks Mitsubishi!). If I was on a trip and couldn't get the door open this would be a real disaster (thankfully it hasn't happened yet). I was thinking maybe I could cut a hole in the rear plastic trim behind the cover which hinges up. If I make it large enough maybe I could get my hand in there to manually operate the door mechanism? Also this would be good to keep the mechanism clean and lubricated, the lack of which I believe is the main cause of it getting stuck. Do you think this is feasible? I have also heard of other people running a wire which can be manually pulled to open the door, maybe this would be a better idea?

    • @DENMONKEY
      @DENMONKEY  2 года назад

      Give me a couple of weeks. I have a handle that mounts inside the vehicle on the back door so you can open it from inside. I just need to fit it and test it. No cutting required. Just remove the plastic cover over the rear wheel mount bolt and you can reach it in there. I'll get onto it quicker now I know you need it.

      @@DENMONKEY yeah interesting. Never even looked on eBay. I’ve come across Kaon but I didn’t consider further as they don’t have anything available as a direct install for pajeros. I thought if modifying might be easiest to just make from scratch yourself. The hard part is justifying it. If I take camp gear I’m usually carrying a camp table. And if I need to escape the wind I cook in the boot. The tail gate won’t avoid wind. Hmmm. My arms are like jelly though, easy to twist. If I see a decent one on a paj I’ll likely copy it!
