I've done this technique with stamp pads and blending brushes, but not with water colors. Really, like the way it turned out. It's a stunning card. Thank you for your idea and video.
Not including drying time I would say an hour to make this card? Love this technique and am going to try it tomorrow. Prob take much longer as I am not a pro like you...

Love how vivid the colors looked it was just a wow card. So you have the front of the watercolor paper to the bumpout side of the embossing folders. This was so cool. Tjank you Shannon
yes, you are correct. You put the side of the watercolor paper that you want to be the front against the bumpy side of the embossing folder. Thanks so much for you lovely comment!
I’ve got to try this. Haven’t made any cards cuz I’m moving my craft room upstairs!!! I’ll try when that’s done but it’s quite a process cuz it’s physically difficult for me. Love this idea!

Hey Julie, the only thing you would have to be careful of if you use watercolor pencils is pressing too hard, which can change the look of the embossed image. Otherwise, it sounds like a great technique to try. Thanks for watching!
This is the first time I've ever seen this technique. It's so original and unique. I'm excited to see what I can do with other colored backgrounds. So exciting. Thank you xo
