  • This special celebratory event was live streamed on 10 February 2023 to mark 30 years of Music for Life, Wigmore Hall Learning’s internationally renowned creative music programme for people living with dementia and their families, friends and carers.
The event was a chance to hear stories and learnings from the last 30 years, experience live improvisation sessions alongside members of our musician team and participants (in-person and online), enjoy a special performance from our Singing with Friends choir, and look ahead to the continued development of this much-loved programme.
Alongside the sessions and performances featured in this video, attendees had the chance to take part in other improvisatory workshops throughout Wigmore Hall. This included a taster of the sessions Music for Life leads in care homes, as well as our Music for Thought and Monday Afternoons projects in the community.
