Hello. Can you tell me if the dimensions of the keyboard are 1-in-1 like Apple's? I want to buy also the original trackpad and the plastic accessory that connects them into one device, but it is designed to fit the original Apple keyboard. If the dimensions are identical, I would prefer to get the Satechi.

The funny thing is, the Huawei Ultrathin Keyboard (that looks a LOT like the Satechi Slim X1) also has this problem but ONLY when plugged in via USB-C and ONLY when when connected to a Mac.
@@HakimZziwaTips Could it be the text editor software the problem?, some prediction on the words? Did you try it with another computer? I'm typing right now with it. So far no problems. It's a big flaw, I expect not to have it in mine.
Apparently, I tried 2 copies of the Satechi and it was the same thing at that time at the same time any apple magic keyboard was working fine, so......
Oh man, I just bought it. It should arrive by tomorrow. I'll be testing that flaw you mentioned. Did this problem happens while in Bluetooth and Wired? O just Bluetooth?
I had no problems typing. I'll mention few things anyway. I use it mostly wired and for that you have to switch it on, yeah I swear 🙃. The problem was that the on/off switch is so cheap and fragile it breaks, so I had to literally peal the aluminum to fix the F switch. Other thing, it is made with Apple in mind, so for Linux (my case) keys are fckup but usable. I'll give it 8/10. Anyway, I moved to the Dell KM7120W @@olumidearaba2574
Sorry to hear that, feel free to return asap, I did return 2 units and gave up, it is a hit or miss, some people have had good experiences though, getting good units and I am not one of those.
I encountered the same problems and if I had seen it earlier I would have saved that money!

To clarify, does it only happen if it is connected to a Mac through USB-C?
Or it happens to Bluetooth connectected to Mac also?
Mine has no problem And it is flawless in typing , Obviously the specific piece you bought has a problem
It was two of them that had same issue and both from B&H, I returned each of them, was probably unlucky I guess.

Only while in bluetooth, you could be lucky with a good copy.

Apple keyboard 2 has no way to check battery levels on iPads or on keyboard. I search for a work around and apparently no one else has
