@@Lunar_Capital Yeah, China provides many kinds of deluxe, but at least one of the two of these accidental occurences I have personally witnessed was in early 00's when the PC stuff was still mostly expensive and durable, not today's Chinese cheapo standard. Can't recall the make, model, nor country of manufacture though..
@@TheSimoc Ahh who knows. You’re totally right about the junk they make today because just not too long ago my brother’s power supply blew up on him on his two year old computer. Ridiculous! Lol

fan is designed for 12 to 24 up to 36volts thats why 230 in a 115 it mean from 12 volt it goes at 24 volts
Bruh fan
Yep
“power supply go boom” is crazy
yeah and now you know why that switch on the back of the power supply is the only switch on your computer that can make an explosion when set wrong
Lol I've actually flipped that switch when I was a dumb kid. Good thing I live in North America.

I’ve never seen capacitors that big, cool
You've seen nothing. Look up "photonicinduction" and he blows one a size of a microwave😮
It would be cool if this video had 300 thousand likes
Can be repair ?
lol i asume you bypased the fuse to get that much of a pop out of it
accidentyl did this to a $2k oscilloscope
Ouch
It's not like $1m is it?
I haven't seen a PSU like that in ages. With an AC 115/230 switch. I think the last time was 20+ years ago.
I saw. Like 6 months ago
I believe super cheap ones still have that
That'll just buff right out.
😁Did you have to bypass the fuse?
No
@@norexp Yep, I have witnessed these happening accidentally. Always wondered why they don't have any kind of protection from this..

A gdzie BHP trochę ostrożności 😎
Poor capacitors. that capacitor was big. you can make a transformerless power supply using that
i was really concerned about that scratched capacitor (or what thing is that). 1:07 now i know why
Shitty power supply. Usually theres a diode or x3 cap that will pop so the rest of it wont go all party mode..
*Inspired by ElectroBOOM*
i thought the capacitors would light up but they look like cheap fire crackers
I wonder why it can't support a lower voltage while running, I'm not an electrician
