When Fortnite came out with the BR mode, a free to play game that was so well made with ton of people consistenly playing it was unheard of. When you got one of your first wins in Fortnite, you felt like you were on top of the world. Completely upped the standard for video games. Great video.

Pubg reached 50 million copies sold by mid 2018, it's success was the real reason why every other company wanted a piece of the battle royale pie. I'm not saying Fortnite didn't have a longer lasting cultural impact, but the way you phrased it in the video made it seem like Fortnite was the foundation of the modern battle royale genre, where infact pubg would've been one layer below it with Fortnite created a BR in response to Pibg's success, and at the time, it only had the building mechanic over pubg, which was the USP that allowed Fortnite to flourish even after competitors flooded the market with BR games.
