Excellent for beginners like me. Other videos don’t show from scratch and seem to assume we all know what end is what and how this look and where to plug things. I don’t! So was very grateful for this video. Nearly went and bought cables I don’t need cause I had the correct cable already!
Tell me please, for a person with very poor eyesight, 27 inch monitor with what resolution is better to buy so that the elements displayed on it through the iPad Pro M1 were as large as possible? FullHD, 2K or 4K? I know that on the iPad you can select the magnification of screen elements, but I do not know which of these three resolutions of the monitor will be the largest elements? I would really appreciate an answer. Thank you!
Hi. Using the largest 4K monitor or TV would be the best thing to do. Then just scale the icons and text to what works best for you. I use a 32" 4K monitor and a 50" TV and the picture from the iPad looks great and the scaling option allows the text to be easily readable. You've also got the option to mirror the iPad output to to use a full 16:9 output with Stage Manager and scale accordingly. Cheers, Dave.
Great gameplay you show off! 😂 But seriously that’s a great cable. I didn’t know it could make that much of a difference when it came to the black bars. Cheers!
That’s right, Tone, I’m a proper show off 😆 Yes, the cable does make a big difference for the black bars, also, some cables only do 30Hz in 4K as well. This cable really is very good, although I would personally use a USB C Hub but I haven’t found one yet that does all the usual ports including Ethernet and with a full height HDMI output with 4K 60Hz. Cheers, Dave.
I’m a bit puzzled when clicking on the link to Amazon to order this cable as on the Amazon site it doesn’t mention it’s compatible with the iPad 12.9” 2021 model. Please can you advise?
@@DavidHarry Hello David! I'd like to use my m1 ipad pro instead of my nvidia shield for movies. I try to use Infuse because it's looks the best video player for ipad, but I faced that my satechi usb-c hub works fine with a 16' mbc in 4k 60hz, with ipad it's limited in 2560x1440. If you have time, please try infuse with some 4K mkv with this cable, Thank you.
Hi. Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see the comment. Yes, this cable will plug into a HDMI capture and you can then use capture or streaming software. Cheers, Dave.
@@DavidHarry hey thanks I ordered it already on risk and it worked thanks ❤️ but screen is stretched little bit on stream labs let me know if u have any info on that if no thanks for the reply 👍🙏
Hi. I don’t use stream labs, but if the picture is being stretched this is usually the resolution of the recording/streaming software (stream labs/OBS etc.) not being correct. Maybe the input resolution or recording/streaming resolution is not set correctly? The stretching won’t be the interface. What video capture card are you using? Cheers, Dave.
@@DavidHarry I am using oxlaw Video capture card I have tried different phones with it .it works well issue is that Its only stretched with iPad in stream labs
sorry can you type what this cable is compatible with? I heard something like DP ultimal 1.4 compatible? I checked the amazon link and it doesn't mention this 1.4 compatible thing. and i have a 3rd party hub from c to hdmi+usb A+Displayport, and i also have my ipad pro 2021 11 inch running pados16. the screen cannot be projected at all. if i was playing a video on safari and connected the adapter to a display, then the video would report error and became a black screen. my husband's ipad pro 2020 works perfect
No it does not work with M1 iPad Pro, don’t trust this RUclipsr, see he never shows any screen from the Display& Brightness page? All of his videos are full of sheeet
Any ideas on which capture card works best with the m1 iPad ? I have a avermedia 4K gc573 and trying to capture with the official apple usb c to hdmi adapter and I keep getting random signal drops so I can’t record or stream mobile game play. Maybe skipping the adapter and trying a usbc to hdmi cable? Thanks!
Hi. I use either a USB C hub with 4K/60 HDMI output or certain USB C to HDMI cables that do 4K/60 and they work great for capturing. I use an Legato 4K60 S+ for standalone capture and a couple of BlackMagic Thunderbolt interfaces for capturing to my Macs and Windows desktop. Check my videos, I show a number of these devices and setups, also doing game capture from my iPad Pro. Cheers, Dave.
Does the hub need to be 4K 60hz compatible? I’m trying to output my m1 iPad Pro to my 1080p monitor and it’s not working. my hub only able to do 4K 30hz but it’s working fine with my m1 MacBook Air any solution to this?
I am new to these things so someone pls tell me that will this cable damage or brick my ipad or not pls answer cause I am scared that It would brick my ipad pls pls pls reply ur response will be helpful alot
You don't say how to connect it like on the TV what do you set the TV to or the iPad with the what settings you go to you just say if you plug this Cable in in a mirror and it doesn't

can we experience Promotion Technology through that HDMI cable on a 120Hz native supported OLED Tv ? (iPad pro 11 inch 2021)
I have a hub with os16 on ipad out yesterday I tried connecting it to my monitor It didn't work, I will try that cable.
Apple have removed the function for the final release and are supposedly bringing it back later when it works.
Any luck finding usb c to 4k 120hz 48gbps HDMI 2.1?
Bought the adapter for my iPad Pro M1 based on this review but it is NOT working. Be warned!
I've tried 3 different adapters. None of them works. I'm not sure if I should get the Apple one.
@@stang4678 I risked it one more time and got the new adapter by UGreen and it worked!! After buying 3 diff cables as well.
