Sir, I have to admit when I saw the title of the video in my notification tray, I thought it would turn out to be a pun on the word "la", which means "pass" in Balti. Something like you got sick of being on a horse (riding which you don't like) and screamed petulantly "mainu thallay la!" Great story, nonetheless. In this day and age of obsession with "winning" and "positive vibes", it takes great courage to share one's misadventures. Our true hero, Mr Salman Rashid! 👏
Sir I think the origin of those Turkish words are from Eastern Turkish. As in Azeri and Anatolian Turkish Buz means Ice while Muz means Banana. So what I understand is that Muz= ice, tağ which dağ in Western Turkish is Mountain. Ata is generally father So its shoud me Buzdağ Ata in western Turkish.
So amazing, aap haar ke bhei jeet gai. Lesson of your incredible story is that mother nature is too strong and humans are very fargile. Our retreat actually is to give respect to forces of nature. I am so impressed how skillfully you kept hide the other visits of Sir Eric Shipton and col. Tilman which you definitely bring in limelight in your next adventure expeditions. Salman sb you are so wonderful.
Just amazing
Love the way you speak especially your punjabi touch .
Thank you very much, Amber. Nice to know that you like the Punjabi.
My error: Shipton was born in 1907. Not 1937,
I was wondering.
Salman boss, you should do a series on reading maps as well.
Okay. Will try to do that.

Never. Never a supernatural experience. And I have been alone in very lonely places.
You jumped directly from Muztagh Ata to Thalle La leaving Tillman and Shipton's story or link to the later 😊
The story was to tell you that at 50 Tilman who was a superman felt Mountaineers' Foot. And I was 60 trying to cross Thalle in deep snow/
