I soulfully agree!!! Morris always adds random and repetitive dialogue that don’t go along with the book! When I was reading one of the books with his narration, I just thought, “what the hell?” Yeah, Rushton also added some random dialogue a few times, but he sometimes makes it work. But that’s beside the point, Morris’ narration was absolutely garbage, and that when want to read a Railway Series book with audible narration, I always would listen to Willie Rushton!
TBH, I think Morris is the best narrator in The Railway Series. Rushton did good, too. But Rushton counts as my second favorite narrator in The Railway Series.
Willie : “broken up? What a shame! Broken up? What a shame!” (Like a ringo Starr) Johnny : “Broken up ? (There was a long silence) Broken up ? (Another moment of silence)” Like what the flip the table
Actually both Johnny Morris and Willie Rushton are good Railway series narrator, if not better, tho yes i do agree with you at 5:06 That that`s the best bit from Rushton
Here are the reasons you showed were i think who did better: 0:00-0:17 Johnny Morris' Cow sound is more realistic 0:17-0:39 Willie Rushton sings better, Also i get the "Never mind about Johnny" line because of that bit Where Johnny Morris couldn't sing well 😂 0:39-0:58 Willie Rushton did better 0:58-1:11 Willie Rushton did better at James and Johnny Morris did good at Edward`s laugh 1:11-2:00 Willie Rushton did better in the actual dialogue but Johnny Morris can whistle better 2:00-2:35 Maybe Johnny Morris 2:35-2:55 Willie Rushton definitely wins 2:55-3:21 Again Johnny Morris maybe 3:22-3:50 Johnny Morris did better here because it was starting to get faster 3:50-4:12 Both of them did good quacking no matter who is better there 4:12-4:42 Johnny Morris does hilarious at hovering sounds and Willie Rushton is better at Percy 4:42-5:05 Willie Rushton did better for the muffing sound that Johnny Morris forgot 5:05 I completely agree that its the best bit from Rushton
I can't stand Johnny Morris' Gordon voice, it's such a weird thickset almost patronising accent like a grandparent talking to a toddler almost which just doesn't match Gordon's personality of being brash and arrogant in the early days to being the almost strong leader he becomes in later books.... Rushton nails most character voices in my mind apart from Flying Scotsman, I can see why he did it but I can't stand the fact he gives him a Scottish accent, it just doesn't fit with him being Gordon's brother then I'd have thought he'd sound similar too?
God Johnny Morris' narration is very obnoxious... Except for characters like Henry, Gordon, James, Toby and Sir Topham Hatt but when he voices the trucks and coaches he sounds like he's talking underwater in a pool swimming while narrating these books and has the worst sound effects... I much prefer Willie Rushton and Ted Robbins.

I really like willie’s Sir Handel Voice
TBH, I think Morris is the best narrator in The Railway Series. Rushton did good, too. But Rushton counts as my second favorite narrator in The Railway Series.
Willie Rushton and Ted Robbins are my favorite RWS Narrators
Johnny was one of the best and the funniest and most comfortable narrator, but Willie WAS the narrator of the railway series 😊
Ngl whenever Johnny voiced the coaches it was annoying, ngl kinda why whenever I watch RWS stories I watch book 9 and onwards.
The Coaches Sound Like They Are Underwater When Johnny Narrated Them
Best RWS narrator. Hands down.
I agree with you. But Johnny really wasn’t that bad.
Never we mind about Johnny, indeed!
Willie : “broken up? What a shame! Broken up? What a shame!” (Like a ringo Starr)
Johnny : “Broken up ? (There was a long silence) Broken up ? (Another moment of silence)”
Like what the flip the table
Yeah, it's Johnny Morris was trying to think what say next in his script
@@PabloAndresColomaMadornes2006Or needing a moment to catch his breath or hiding a yawn like me whenever I sing random songs I find when I'm bored.
2:44 I didn’t know coaches could swim! 😂
Yeah Rushton is my favorite narrator from The Railway Series

0:39-0:58 Willie Rushton did better
0:58-1:11 Willie Rushton did better at James and Johnny Morris did good at Edward`s laugh
1:11-2:00 Willie Rushton did better in the actual dialogue but Johnny Morris can whistle better
2:00-2:35 Maybe Johnny Morris
2:35-2:55 Willie Rushton definitely wins
2:55-3:21 Again Johnny Morris maybe
3:22-3:50 Johnny Morris did better here because it was starting to get faster
3:50-4:12 Both of them did good quacking no matter who is better there
4:12-4:42 Johnny Morris does hilarious at hovering sounds and Willie Rushton is better at Percy
4:42-5:05 Willie Rushton did better for the muffing sound that Johnny Morris forgot
5:05 I completely agree that its the best bit from Rushton
And its even funnier to listen to Johnny Morris`s hovering sound when it`s speed up
In old Iron, Johnny Morris missed the bit where Thomas & Percy stick up for Edward
Seriously, what is up with Johnny Morris when he says “Stop”? It sounds like he’s saying “STO-O-O-OP! STO-O-O-OP!”
I highly agree.
I agree
When Johnny voice the coaches
2:44 When you talk with water in your mouth
Agreed.
Nice
Battle of the two Great Britans!
Awdry was good as well
i think rushton is better
Willie is more funny
Yeah, but I actually think that Johnny's extra yet unnecessary dialogue and other voice sounds make him more funny.
Me: Jallerbo please 2:44
wOoooOHHHHW
I like johnny more than willie
