My Samsung fridge isn't cooling. The red light on the mainboard is solid and the compressor is turning on. Both Sears and Samsung technicians say it's a sealed system issue that I should be covered by Samsung to repair for free, but the Samsung tech claims the mainboard is broken and he's charging me $500 to replace it. Is it possible he's just lying to charge for a repair that should be free?
