Israel is at war with Hamas and there is sadly collateral damage, if they wanted genocide they could wipe out Gaza in two hours. But they haven't, they're using ground troops to try and root out the terrorists. Hamas still has hostages! Should Israel leave them there? Of course not, that would never be expected of any other country. Hamas says they won't stop the attacks, so Israel has to stop them now. Stop believing the lies Hamas wants you to believe.

I hope he has some rest days after reporting for months in Israel. War on the West opened my eyes on what I don't know but want to find out. His book whets my appetite to explore the brainwashing in my own head. Douglas's brilliance is by challenging ideas that on the surface look virtuous but underneath hold no substance and does so with timeless wit and generosity. He has changed my mind on many belief systems I held without causing too much shame for having believed them in the first place. THANK YOU.

I absolutely love Douglas Murray, his wit, intelligence and especially his ability to bravely say it like it is. I watched his discussion on the Jewish Report and really want to know which journalist interviewed him, claiming she was in Gaza. The one that worked for Al Jazeera previously - would love to see him set her straight!

Although Douglas is an incredibly well traveled, highly intellectual, outstanding journalist, debater par excellence, and extremely well versed in History amongst many other attributes, I am THRILLED that he is back in SA, just so he can once again affirm to himself that not ALL South Africans are lunatics such as the ANC government.
The ANC government, who, in their infinite wisdom, decided to get into bed with Iran (thereby there savage affiliates)on Israel and thought it was a brilliant idea.
The joy is that Douglas has a very public platform upon which he can call out the utter hypocrisy of this government. A platform upon which he can speak to the ideology of these sub human terrorists. A platform upon which he can speak to the truth. The absolute truth.

Gareth, thank you for hosting Douglas Murray in South Africa. Douglas is a smart gentleman, one of my favorite speakers / writers on world matters. That said, I have much respect for you Gareth, especially after seeing this interview. This interview reminds me of the interview between Douglas Murray and Tucker Carlson. I hear the same calm, respectful, articulate and intelligent communication. This was a brilliant interview. Please try to bring Dr Jordan Peterson to SA to have a similar interview. Well done Gareth.

And the education system which has steadily eroded the "settler history" of South Africa. In the larger geo-political sphere, South Africa needs to form part of the West - not the China-Russia-Iran axis, regardless of the legacy of apartheid, it is the right side of history. Long after Putin and the ANC are gone, we will still be learning about Plato, and the ideas that shaped human civilisation.

Stop being biased. BJ Vorster was the beginning of a period of foolish leadership which was exacerbated by ANC cadres. This is best seen by the infrastructure crisis that was inherited due to sunset apartheid leaders pouring funds into military expenditure(e.g. Angola, Nukes) instead of maintenance and education. Even Verwoerd spoke of the uneducated Afrikaner problem symbolic of historical education deficiencies regardless of race which were studied by Rev. William Nicol who posited the education problem is a result of language.
@@paulamarsh1 As for this, we can learn from the US, UK(Commonwealth), Germany(Nord Stream) etc who are non-aligned(hence manufacturing/investment hubs in the east.) This east-west logic is antiquated and isn't practiced by major industrial powers who trade based on price/value concerns. All G7 countries have major trade links with Eastern nations.

I picked up a good advice during your talk to our Jewish community. This advice stuck in my mind ( To understand the Jewish people one need to study history diligently ). I hated the Jewish in my earlier life but God threw at me a work by Paul Johnson called THE HISTORY OF THE JEWISH. That book opened my eyes. From then on I like these people so much that I share much of their hardships, grief, happiness, they are in fact awe-inspiring people.
