You speak, voice quiet, barely a whisper, “e/n… I should go” Although his grip only gets snugger as he pulls you back against his chest like you were his teddy bear. being the little spoon was not the way you though you were going to wake up, not in e/n’s arms at least. he buries his face into the crook of your shoulder. it’s then, when you feel his warm breath on your skin you realize you are both undressed. clothes scattered about the room. you inhale sharply, stiffening. e/n. he saw you like this. he’s *seeing* you like this. “e/n i need to go” you speak a tad more urgently, although your voice was still shaky, still quiet. e/n buries his face in your hair, inhaling deeply, his bare body pressed against yours. his grip around your waist doesn’t budge. “can you shut up for two seconds?” e/n grumbles, his voice raspy from sleep and quiet as he talks to you. “e/n.” you speak, a little louder, although your voice cracks and your heart seemed to pound all too fast and your face seemed all too hot like the sun was beating down on it and you couldn’t seem to move because he was holding you too tight but not too tight not at all and suddenly he lets go. he drops his grasp, groaning quietly in frustration, and you couldn’t tell if it was towards you or towards himself as he flips to face the other way, pressing the heels of his hands into his eyes. you swallow thickly, heart still pounding, body still bare. you stand. “leave.” he speaks, his voice a mixture of frustration and resentment, stiff and sharp. you didn’t know what to feel anymore, not while he was laying there so utterly perfect, just woken up, his hair messy, his back all on display for your eyes to run over. you had been planning on leaving, but the way he’d spoke, the frustration in his voice, both for himself and for you, you hesitate. this man, laying out in front of you. back turned, bare. he was an ass. he really, really was. you glance down at yourself and start slowly picking up your clothes that had been scattered about the room. mid way through, e/n sits up, rubs his eyes, watches you. and you let him. there wasn’t much of a point anymore, although it didn’t stop your face from heating. panties on, bra on, jeans, top, socks. he watches silently, leaned back against the headboard, his face flat. his beautiful fcking face, emotionless. a cold stare, the usual stare you get from him. despite that, it felt different. this situation felt different, and the cold stare he usually gave you seemed to be mixed with something else as he studied you quietly. shoes on, earrings on, bag over your shoulder. your stomach seemed to do something weird as you look back at him one more time, laying bare in the bed, staring. you walk out the door without a word… ALRIGHT lmk if i should do another part 🥱
