Sharon is an amazing singer. You should check out Within Temptation.
Sharon (another Dutch angel) was self-taught when Within Temptation began.... You really need to hear some WT! "Candles", "What Have You Done Now", "Faster", "Shot In The Dark". "Sinead"..... collabs with Xibit on "And We Run", Howard Jones (Killswitch Engage) on "Dangerous".... so good at writing ear-worms!!! The Dutch Symphonic metal band "Delain"'s founder is her brother in-law, Martijn! Metal IS Family!

Hey I am From belgium and this program calls liefde voor muziek(love for music). It's a show to honour our artist in all kinda genre who are internationally famous or locally. They have to cover eachother song. The best hits. Kinda respect thing. She is also in a band called within Temptation. Internationally known .
This is a program called "love for music" It is the equivalent for the dutch "Beste zangers" Singers are singing songs from eachother for eachother. Sharon den Adel is actually dutch so i don't quite understand why she was there and not in Beste zangers. She is the frontwomen from the dutch symphonic metal band "Within temptation" and can be named in one breath with Simone Simons, Floor Jansen, Anneke van Giersbergen, Charlotte Wessels and so on.....

Nothing to add. Sharon is magic. Natural beauty and blessed with the pipes of an angel. These Dutch ladies. Come on. Must be something in the water or something.
I loved that Sharon was in "liefde voor muziek". Every season they did, they always invited a singer from the Netherlands. That's why she was there. Gers Pardoel, Andre Hazes jr. and so on where on a series of this show too. It wouldn't have been the same without some talent from Holland.

If you really want a real treat, listen to Sharon singing "Somewhere" in a duet with Anneke van Giersbergen from the Within Temptation Black Symphony live album. The song is generally known throughout the internet as "THE Duet" (caps intended) Sharon is a wonderful, largely self taught singer and Within Temptation is in my top five list of favorite bands. Thanks for another great reaction.

I’ve been watching your WT/Sharon reactions for a couple weeks now but somehow completely missed that *THIS* was the first time you ever heard her sing. I just discovered this performance a few days ago and good lord, even loving WT for almost 13 years I’m STILL blown away by her voice.
Afterwards so proud of myself that i requested her. You asked "Who is this Woman?" I started the Sharon Journey

I found this tonight.. so, HXC... THIS is how and when you first found SHARON, and then afterward dug to find WITHIN TEMPTATION>? Too rich, as I watched you fall in love with that person and her vocal prowess that SPEARS right into your heart and either heals you, empathizes with you or gives you energy................ or all three!!!!!! She is most magnificent, still... at age 47. MY FAVORITE adult female, with Angelina Jordan coming in from behind as the most favorite YOUNG female artist and person... both ANGELS in my book.

It was supposed to be Within Temptation and Evanescence.
in the early 2000s Within Temptation (Sharon´s band) and After Forever (1st Floor´s band) were my favorite bands of symphonic rock/metal... then Floor joined to Nightwish... and blew everything...

There might be singers with better technique (like Floor Jansen or Anneke van Giersbergen) but for me no one brings more emotions within sound, Sharon sings like an angel in her higher range, here she sung lower and she is smoking hot! Amazing woman, my favourite singer and with fans she is always the nicest and "down to earth" person. I've been lucky enough to be at Within Temptation's shows 3 times and those were the best concerts I've experienced. I hope you'll check out some more of her performances, enjoy the ride ;)

I think I did recognize Sam Bettens from K's Choice (used to be Sarah Bettens before transition). So if you look at Sarah Bettens you find older videos and a lot of collaborations with other famous artists.
