As someone with Tourette’s it can be so exhausting and awkward. And when I talk about it it enhances. Some of my verbal ticks are so bad I can’t breathe and people just think I’m making a strange noise but suppressing it only makes it worse
I feel ya, my ticks gravitate to whatever is painful on my body, like it keeps testing that spot often making it worse because its not left alone to heal. As a kid I would have crazy loud spouts, and sometimes yes it's hard to breathe because of my abdominal tick, contorting my middle causing my lungs to not get the full amount of air they need often resulting in a sharp pain in my lower side stomache region. But even still I I have grown to accept and even like my ticks, it's like the one thing that kinda sets me apart from the hurd lol.
I think it is so important that there is proper education and that illnesses like Tourette syndrome do not have to be hidden. No sufferer should have to feel uncomfortable or even ashamed because of it.

Billie's Tourrette's activates mostly with extreme stress and bright/ flashing lights, she knows her triggers and tries to minimize them. She's still successful and deals with her limitation.
You admire yourself? Congrats, you also have NPD.
i have tourette’s too, luckily it only flares up when i’m super super stressed, otherwise you wouldn’t know i have it. when this video mentioned tourette’s my brain was like “oh yeah you have that! tic now🥰”
hahaaa I am with you there, when I see somebody doing what looks like a tic, all of a sudden BOOM!
:skull:
... social contagion.
She is a strong, honest and proud person. Respect
You could tell during the concert she was trying and getting frustrated when her Tics wouldn't stop😢😮
Why would I feel bad for a person so accomplished and talented.
@@oIiviao huh
Yeah… I don’t get this idea that we should “feel bad” for someone who overcomes her challenges (we all have em) and succeeds. Billie Eilish sure as hell doesn’t need my pity. I’d be pretty damn sure she would say no thanks to it….
@@oIiviaostating someone is accomplished and successful, and that there is no place for pity, is not the same as having a sad life…
@@oIiviao youre chronically online
is she still a human being and she obviously is upset about her condition
I don't think she would want ppl to feel bad or sorry for her but instead give her credit for being able to do the work she does regardless of any disability she may have. Props Billy keep doin your thing😊❤
Одно другому не мешает
As a girl with seizures and panic disorder I feel her. I understand how difficult it is for someone to deal with their mental disorders. I'm empathetic towards her and i truly understand her . I feel the pain I feel the judgement I feel the criticisms and everything. I don't usually cry and neither am I capable of showing my emotions but this one hits so hard emotionally .
What manner of judgment or criticism?
Check/google... sindrome Pans/Pandas...❤
It’s a complete normal thing and I do feel bad cause she tries to take control of it i’m sure feeling embarrassed just by how she face palmed at her concert I feel bad because she shouldn’t feel embarrassed and people shouldn’t make jokes out of her send-rum making her feel any type of way now if she doesn’t really care what people say that’s good but if she does and people are making jokes out of it they differently need to stop😔
She's a strong woman 💪 Let's support Billie ❤
I'm glad that almost no one is saying they feel bad for her. She's an amazing person, and this doesn’t change anything
She sheds light on a topic we all have heard of but most haven’t witnessed. She strong, she’s not embarrassed, she’s honest and unapologetically herself. Feeling bad or sorry for someone can often sound like pity and I seriously doubt she’d want anyone pitting her.
The only think more pain in the arse about the condition than the ticks is having to explain you arent an Adam Sandler character.
It's refreshing to know that She is Comfortable within Herself to speak openly about it....❤❤❤❤
I feel bad for the ones that have to wake up 5:00 to go to work
Thank you. I knew there had to be at least one person in these comments who isn't a soy fueled snowflake ❄️.
These people are why our country is now the laughing stock of the planet
SUCH STRENGTH AND POWER SHE HAS DESPITE EVERYTHING!!♡
She's so beautiful. ❤
I respect that interviewer who was respectful to her
She handles it well. Self confidence makes a world of difference
It's amazing what being adored by millions of fans can do for the ol' self confidence
@@TheIronDuke9 yeah but this is kind of the chicken and the egg paradox
I find her even stronger, the show still goes on..She's Awesome
Makes me treasure her even more! I believe people that deal with Tourette’s are stronger than most!
Keep you in my thoughts and prayers billy
She handles it with grace, and she is an awesome singer. Love you Billie!!
"Feel bad for her"? Dude, I applaud her! It's got to be a never-ending battle to keep ticks like that at bay, especially as a performer. To have her come this far, in spite of her disability, is inspiring!
Dude you can't control or keep the ticks at bay😆 when they come, they come. It's not something you can control.
Ikr she’s amazing and I love her and who she was born as and her disability because ITS A PART OF her.
@@Rusty08-2 you can disguise it, hold it back if you really need to. Otherwise we would be swerving into traffic allllll the time.
It is better to just let it out though, they come back with a vengeance.
I feel proud of Billie; she is an amazing artist.
Look at all the brilliant work she’s done. Her condition obviously doesn’t define who she is & what she’s capable of. ❤
I love her she is my fav singer
Who love billie eilish
👇
Love you Billie 😊😊😊😊😊😊
I feel like she is an inspiration seeing as she hides her tics but still accepts it
I guess I would be considered an inspiration as well, or does that only apply to famous nepo babies? Legit question.
@@KatKaotikalol what?
I am proud of her as an artist and as a global inspiration towards open acceptance of her disability. She has set standards for this and future generations to be the best of oneself as is and rock it.❤
I adore and admire her. Until now I never knew. Bravo Billie!! What courage!! Another reason for us to support those close to us who suffer from mental illnesses ❣️💯🙏
As someone with Tourette’s it can be so exhausting and awkward. And when I talk about it it enhances. Some of my verbal ticks are so bad I can’t breathe and people just think I’m making a strange noise but suppressing it only makes it worse
Google - sindrome Pans/Pandas...
But even still I
I have grown to accept and even like my ticks, it's like the one thing that kinda sets me apart from the hurd lol.
I’m so proud of how far she’s come as an artist❤❤
Why would I feel bad for her?
Shes hugely successful and doing what she loves.
She's doing just fine, far better than most people.
People need to understand not everyone is perfect. She's a wonderful artist.
I think it is so important that there is proper education and that illnesses like Tourette syndrome do not have to be hidden. No sufferer should have to feel uncomfortable or even ashamed because of it.
I have Tourette’s she just showes how it doesn’t stop you from doing SHIT
She’s a fighter to deal with that every day cannot be easy. She is strong and courageous to get in front of thousands of people knowing what she goes through. This is a person that doesn’t give up and doesn’t give in someone to look up to.
Embrace your uniqueness. She is the perfect queen.
She's Strong She's Beautiful and She's Really Hardworking
She absolutely has over come so much and it has not held her back from achieving all that she has.
Why would I feel bad? She’s a strong woman and can get through anything!
She's so beautiful the way she is ❤❤❤
Nah, she's got this and has been really transparent about everything. She's owning it all and doing the darn thing! RESPECT! 💎🌟
She's such a strong person.
I love her and the fact she doesn't hide it..
No matter what Billie is we love her she is unique❤❤❤
Shes a strong person and I respect her for that
Billie is just soooo talented. I love a lot about her style, her abilities. She’s just so beautiful. I’m over the moon that she hasn’t let the ticking get in her way and stop her 🎉. !
Play On ! Awesome ❤
I think she handles it in an amazing way that fits her 😊she a great artist !!!
She’s doing great and is an example of people with any disability can actually achieve anything. I don’t feel bad, I’m proud of her!!
