It's sad what happened to Revan and Meetra in that dang book when they confronted The Emperor.
I agree, upon my first read through I was devastated to learn what happened!
I recently finished rhe audiobook and I stills haven't quite got around how I felt about the end of meetra surik(been trying to decide of she was just in denial about being in lobe with revan) however I immediately thought of sisyphus regarding revan. Also a line from hellraiser "this is the hell you created for youself" penance for the mass shadow generator came a calling

Personally, I think Revan and Exile's fates should have been left unknown and up to the fan's interpretations. Screw the novel and the MMO! In my headcanon, Revain and Exiles killed the Emperor and Lord Scrouge and returned to the republic and helped rebuild and the sith empire fell into ruin.
