My god !!! How excellent you are... Following your videos seems you are watching my own videos and are describing all my mistakes and how to correct them (unfortunately not so easy) Thanks a lot
I liked seeing the guy at the end dropping a variety of balls with different pace and height. High balls to the forehand and backhand are always difficult for me. So I liked seeing how you can practice them with dropping the ball differently. Great content! Thank you! 🙌
Simply amazing! I'm as much of a fan of great tennis coaching as I am of playing and watching tennis, I've been that way since I frist started playing in 1981. Thanks Coach Meike 🙏 excellent lesson! Your one of the very best!
One thing that is rarely spoken about is muscle strenght. I found myself missing a lot of balls simply because some of the muscles were too tired to keep the arm rigid enough, thus loosing control of the racquet face. It can be very frustrating, especially when you are not aware that this is the reason. Same for legs.
I have often wondered how anyone could hit a forehand topspin with a continental grip. I wonder if McEnroe had played eastern how his rivalry with Lendl would have turned out.

Thanks a lot. Now I think I understood my problem with the deep forehand specially from the Deuce court with the ball moving away.
Glad the video was helpful!

Especially at the end of a longer match!
Is there a way to fix this or its just a situation of letting it be?
@meike babel tennis can you briefly explain the soft semi western grip?
Great instruction as usual. What do you think is the best grip . Eastern or simiwestern
I have often wondered how anyone could hit a forehand topspin with a continental grip. I wonder if McEnroe had played eastern how his rivalry with Lendl would have turned out.
My problem is not being back far enough to hit the ball in front. Very hard to know how far to move back before the bounce.
You have continental grip..Old style stroke. 1970th..You should learn nextzen stroke. 😅
