Vocally, I an multi-lingual. English, Italian, Spanish, and am learning French and Korean. But I can’t string a spoken sentence together to save my life. I my know what I am singing, so I can emote properly, but that is it.

This was not my favorite performance that I have heard from this young lady. It lacked the vocal excellence that I have heard from her. IMO, the movement and theatrics distracted from her vocal performance. Her voice can stand alone without over styling her performance. Something was lost in the translation.
You find this pleasing to listen to? I’ve perused multiple reactors using words such as different, interesting, unique and so on. What I’ve not heard is the Ah-Ha of Dimash or any sign of enthusiasm. I don’t remember hearing pleasurable. Just a guess, but it seems more akin to being reluctant to say anything negative for fear of the dreaded backlash and OMG Unsubscribe! IMO of course. Humble has since disappeared from current internet intelligentsia.

I can't say it was a good performance. It was more like a clown show to me. She can obviously sing, but the problem here is that she's trying to imitate singing like a man with a deep and strong voice. Has nothing to do with language barriers. I thought it was humorous, but not good quality singing.

if you've heard her other songs, that's the voice she sings with all the time. Its not an act. Not a "clown show".
