    THANK YOU! you're the only person who actually shows what size they're supposed to be for 1:12 scale dolls! That's a very important piece of information right there and NO ONE shares it unfortunately. I love you for that!!!
    The technique is also easy and not overdone (or underdone) like so many others. I'm surprised that this video isn't more popular!
    Again, thank you, thank you, thank you:) you're awesome!

      Thank you so much for your comment!! :) To know the 1/12 scale measure, just divide the real 1:1 size by 12 :)
      I'm pretty new on YT, so my channel is growing now. I'm glad you like it :)

    I love your precious tutorials! Very well explained and demonstrated. I do have a question. When you attach the iris to the raw clay eyeball, do you bake before you apply the resin? Resin does not like heat after curing. I would assume you resin after the eyeballs are cured? Thanks so much.

    Thank you so much for this Daniela! Your work is too beautiful for words! You have inspired me to attempt my first fairy doll as a gift for my daughter. After several tries, I finally got my cane to look like yours and I was so thrilled! I baked it and then tried to slice it - and it just crumbled! I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I tried several times with the same results. I baked it according to the package for about 10 minutes.I'm using Sculpy III clay as that was what I had on hand. Am I overbaking it? Am I using the wrong clay? Any advice would be welcomed. Thank you again for posting this!

I love the captioned format, but sometimes have to back up to read them if I get distracted by the entertaining cuteness you sometimes insert in the presentations. (I mean that in a good way!) For the life of me, I do not understand how or why anyone would thumbs-down anything you’re sharing! (But then there’s a percentage of humans I simply will never understand so oh well...) • @allad.1175

    Thank you for this amazing tutorial! I'll be definitely trying it within the next few days. What is the baking time and temperature? Do you let it cool down completely or slice it while it's still warm? What center colors would you use for the blue and brown eyes?

    • @CelidoniaStudio
      @CelidoniaStudio  8 лет назад +1

      +Alla D. baking at temperature you read on polymer clay bar (it's between 110°C to 130°C, and higher for Kato clay, it depend on the brand), pre-baking temperature is about 10-20°C less than baking temperature. I let it cool down completely. Center colors: white for blue eyes, white or light green for brown eyes. But always test, there are a lot of beautiful variations, like in real life! ;)

    • @allad.1175

    This video is great! The way you explain makes sense more than I have seen, but you say to bake the cane after you roll it to a snake. Then you cut a thin layer and apply to white ball. As I cut it crumbled. :0(

    • @JewelsFromVenus
      @JewelsFromVenus 9 лет назад

      +felicia rodriguez I wondered about that..maybe slice first and then bake the whole eye minus the uv gel..Do you use Sculpy 3? Some clay brands are worse then others.. Sculpy 3 is the worst for breaking and thats what I had..so I had to go buy Fimo or Premo instead..they are more pliable and dont break as easily after baking

    • @CelidoniaStudio
      @CelidoniaStudio  9 лет назад

      +felicia rodriguez sorry I didn't read your comment before! Usually polymer clay crumbles when it is baked at too low temperature (use always an oven thermometer to be sure about real temperature) or for too little time, or if it handled when it is still hot.

      @CelidoniaStudio  9 лет назад

      Grazie Giorgio :) C'è molto lavoro ma come dice Daniela Prosperi nei commenti è proficuo, alla fine si ottengono tantissimi occhietti :D Si possono usare anche resine a freddo, o le paste sintetiche liquide (tipo il Fimo Gel). Bisogna evitare però quelle a base di solventi, perché interagiscono con la pasta e nel tempo potrebbero rovinare il lavoro.
