So the drug thing.....most of the context at their beginning was a result of the current party scene for their age group. Second, from what i remember, they would go in the studio with a certain head space/vibe and bust out some gold. They started that way and then as it became more intense and out of control. When you listen to the albums in chronological order, their lyrics start reflecting that and the experiences they had with the people around them "indulging". They have since slowed their rolled and stick to mostly naturals with the exception of studio time if I'm not mistaken. How that helps 😊 i appreciate these though fr! Thank you for recognizing their talent 🔥🔥🔥 best part to them in my opinion is they didn't and won't sell out and did this on talent only...best kind

finally saw these guys live and honestly they are the most down to earth kind of people you will ever meet, they do give out an announcement telling people not to do drugs, i mostly think the wordplay and metaphors for drugs are why they use them a lot however after watching a lot of interviews with them their target audience are people who struggle with addiction and a lot of mental issues, so i guess they try to relate to those types of people on another level, just my opinion tho

I will continue to like and watch everyone of these videos until you have finished all their songs Ik it’s a lot but it’s so nice to see how other people react to their music taking in the fact of how much they’ve grown as artists and people ❤
With songs like uncomfortable etc, they show a vulnerable side with anxiety and mental pressures etc, although most of the songs are about drugs they d not promote the use, such as in live performances where they tell the fans directly or in songs such as like a rock star “ don’t try this”

Thanks for reacting to these, its always fun to see it from a different perspective from someone who doesnt listen to them as much! And yeah about the drug use and such, which im sure you've already heard is that they have mentioned they use it as a "methaphor" for other feelings, and they have also stated that they dont abuse drugs as much as they say they do in their songs, they mentioned it is a way of "acting". Theres also an article i decided to pick some stuff out to kind of make it less confusing as its pretty easy to get lost in. “We’re not condoning drug use. I mean, there was a whole EP called ‘Don’t Try This’,” offers Christian. “‘Heaven and Back’, ‘Stuck In My Brain’, all the ones that have overt references to drug use are always going down a negative path. It’s never positive.” & "It’s never glorified, just echoed as a sad fact of being young and alive, this was taken from Readdork if u wanna continue it a little. Theres many more interviews and articles as the way they mention drugs so lightly is often misundertsood, which is understandable. Hope that helped cleared it up a little! :)
