Both versions of the song feel like Dabi's theme song. The first one was the beginning of his story. He bust onto the scene fucking shit up with rebellious, angry energy. This one feels like it gets play at the climax of his story. There's been a tooth and nail fight that Dabi was having with someone and now he's telling them why he's ending them before he does it. It's cinematic and emotional. Absolutely amazing.
Said everything. The first one if you stop to think about it, it really has more of a presentation music face (more darker and "quiet", giving a darker and more mysterious air to the character); this one being more explosive, we already know the character's way, it really seems more like a song that plays at the climax of the story.
I thought the original song was really good, but I also feel like this one encapsulates the character of dabi better, where the first one had major villain energy this one is more somber like yeah I'm a villain but if your story was as sad as mine you would be too.
this song is like when somebody breaks your walls down, and you're torn between them and your world. But you never really had a choice in the end because you know deep down it would have never worked out.
@@tanjirokamado3403 no i took that shit when you said when you dont have a choice in the end. eren was pushed into a corner and he just decided to step on these fools
No that "I'm gone" and "Line* drawn" is definitely a new vocal level for Fabvl, I don't think he's ever went there before. The original is one of my favorite songs ever, this one is almost like a version made to be played in an orchestral hall that will bring tears to people's eyes.
How I describe the original to the reimagined:The original was the us seeing dabi early in the anime. The reimagined is us being caught up with dabi in the manga
Haha I called it he pulled a "falling in reverse" - "the drug in me is reimagined" but ya got to love it could see what else he could do with it other then this and just 👌 great reaction dude 😁
Both versions are very much Dabi but I think I like the reimagined version better. It has a softer and sadder ring to it while the original is much more aggressive and more of channeling Dabi's hatred to heroes. This one goes with more of why he's doing it rather than just hate.
As I said on twitter, reimagined does not do this song justice... it is a great song that showcases how much Fabvl has grown as an artist while still somehow being a massive improvement from an already great song.
Fabvl just wanted to flex his sangin chops OG brought the energy. Picked you up and kept the energy. This is an experience. Brings in all the emotions.
I feel like the word he's been looking for was soulful, sounds like he's telling a story in this version where as in the original he sounded like idgaf energy
Imma be honest both versions are awesome but this one just feels surreal and it cut deep for me as it is like its on a more emotional level as i can kinda relate to parts of the song

@henriquesevero754 and we all know what happens once you peak at the climax

Bro i was about to start going crazy and next thing I hear is "if you this far in the video" 😂🤣🤣
"And you're not subscribed, what the fuuuuck"
Man really paused at the best part of the song for this
what makes this better was remember when fabvl said that he didn’t like and wanted to scrap the OG version of the song. Now look at him refining it

The choir was so....*BEAUTIFUL*

DB with the great reaction as always.
This was SO, EMOTIONAL
Fabvl just wanted to flex his sangin chops

I haven't listened to the original in a while but man this was insane! The high notes on the chorus was the best I've ever heard Fabvl sing
Fabvl clearly lost the battle when he didn’t send a 16 to Jamar Rose.
Yeah the last one was pretty agro, but this one had an introspective emotion with it.
bro this orchestral version is just amazing darnell csn you check out johnald
Yyeeeeaaaahhhh boi
AND THE FACT HE WAS NEVER GOING TO RELEASE THE ORIGINAL
Ooo I seee
Your red hood song slaps
The Same song just a different production and the different energy
Also cross my heart is very topical en with the new season of mha
Ayo reactor that people don’t like when you use the pause function💀, how you doing today and what was your favorite part of the song 😎
I have to say I think the original is better, but this one is still good.
I think this one misses out on the anger that was in the original.
