Your talk on volume of the fly to match the hatch is exactly why I start tying flies like yours, and man do I catch more fish ,bigger fish, I turn alot of large fish loose and keep smaller stock to eat
In general with a wiggle tail, do you think tying it on a barrel swivel instead of other options would help lessen line twist? Have any issues with this? I run my UV lightly over the eyes, too. Keeps paint on them longer.
