    Excellent job, I'm doing a atlas master right now. Columbus is one of my top favorites.

    Loved the restoration and the colour. What a refreshing change from the standard red gumball machines.

    Agree about the music. Wasn't loving the sea foam green but it turned out awesome!!!! Great job!!

    I loved everything about it. I just wish I could find some to restore myself. Not for You Tube, so no competition there. I just want to do it for myself and possibly give as gifts for those in my family that have children and.or game rooms. Great job!!

    Wow so many comments hating on the color! I personally like it! Not all gumball machines have to be red y'all! I think the sea foam green is unique! If you ever do another gumball/candy/toy machine would you paint it royal purple?? PLEASE?? 😁😂

    This was cool but I would have preferred you paint this red. I have a few of newer gum ball machines in storage.

    Really great restoration; but, did you have any lead based paint considerations before beginning this project? (not a criticism)

    • @SilverHawkRestorations
      @SilverHawkRestorations  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching and appreciate the comments. All of my restorations are lead tested before I start the project. You bring up a good point makes me think I should put a comment in the video before blasting anything to let people know it was tested and is negative for lead. Thanks again!

    What are the brackets on the back used for? Some way of securing to a pedestal maybe? As always, love the restoration.

    • @SilverHawkRestorations
      @SilverHawkRestorations  3 года назад

      Yes, they are to mount the machine to a pedestal or table so that someone couldn't walk off with it. I have it sitting in my living room and it gets used quite often!

    I agree with the other folks: lose the music. You will go much farther as a channel without it.
