Varanasi is crowded for beginners

I don’t think you can go to ladakh with an EV bike. You can’t find a charging station on the way or any spare parts. Also the tourist season is ending but sill if you want to go, you need to get permit .

They avoid it unless necessary like govt job transfer etc..or else delhi is filled with migrants from punjab, west Bengal and bihar/up and even Bangladesh..also south indian migrate maximum till mumbai as the cultures are very different from theirs if they any more north..the roads are narrow only in the ghats else there are numerous expressway even non major highways are super smooth and very green with palm trees on both sides..also for foreigners it's easy to converse in south India as many know English as their second language and not hindi
Hey marc another thing is that to go to ladakh there are two main parts from the left side and from the middle you should research about that and go because ladakh is a dream for bikers mountains everywhere I suggest taking the biking path from the left side
1. I am not sure if that toll is legal or not. Because here there are few tolls which are not legal. They operate unofficially. 2. If you are going to Ladakh, there is one suggestion I would like to give you. I dont know if your charger requires a proper earthing or not, but for car charger I have seen earthing is very important otherwise it does not charge and shows warning. In those hilly regions there are not a lot of EV chargers so you end up charging at a hotel. And those places do not have proper earthing. So people with EV cars take an extension cable. That cable is attached to a copper rod or copper strip. Then they literally dig that plate in a pot filled with soil. The other end of that wire is connected to the earthing terminal of your charger. You can check if your charger also need something like this then you can google about that solution. Or in youtube only you can watch few videos on "charging tata nexon in ladakh". You might get a better idea on it. 3. Carry ropes, probably chains, puncture kit, tire inflator at least. The road can become rough in places so you need some backup. Rest enjoy and have a nice journey.

Must put a little number plate in front too. Can stick it with two way tape or something. To avoid authorities asking several times here and there. You will find small shops anywhere that do it. The military might also ask you in Ladakh.
You can try reporting the old UPI place adress as wrong in the google maps and add the correct one if you know the location so that others don't have to go through the hassle.
Go to a machinist shop with a lathe machine. He can fabricate a new one (bar end plug) out of aluminum or mild steel. You can go to bitto in jhandelwalan market in delhi. Since you are staying very close to me and visited my neighborhood as well. Let me know what you need. Happy to help.

Kings and Queens around the world have traveled to india to see it. Princess Diana made it a point to be photographed in front of it when she separated from Prince Charles....King Charles. today. Yes, it is considered the 7 modern winders of the world! It is on my bucket list to see it!! I think it is incredible!! As you get older you get to appreciate such things more as you realize how difficult it gets to travel around the world. At least you can tell everyone you have been thrre and saw it as billions would have loved to see it but unable to see it. So, it is a very big deal for you to be there and see it!!. Instead of Airbnb try any Indian booking apps if u can't try selecting the filter when searching for hotels there's a filter where u can see hotels with ev charging stations
Try to go to Padum and Zanskar in Ladakh. Also the Nubra valley north of Leh. But of course go easy on those altitudes. It can get risky if you climb too fast.
There are many more things in India which should be given place in wonders of the world....there are so many temples are architectural marvels and even the latest technology is not capable of making such architecture.

The fact that you are complaining now so frequently about the difficulties with the Zero updates to your motorcycle demonstrates to my generation the utter folly in buying any vehicle that is electrically powered. You are totally in the hands of the manufacturer who can dictate through software, every aspect of your motoring experience. Whether it starts, when it starts, the performance, the power needed and all the simple basic expectations of owning your own transport. In my day and still for the most part if the vehicle ICE engine fails it can often be resolved on your driveway or at least most local garages. Zero are doing themselves no favours in terms of customer relations by not acknowledging your struggles, but also these 'glitches' highlight the problems any rider contemplating purchasing an EV bike will encounter as it is clear should it be necessary or legislated for, the owner will no longer be incontrol of their vehicle, car or bike. All that said your channel is a fascinating watch and I applaud and am in awe as to the wealth of knowledge about different cultures and countries you are giving us and wish you nothing but good luck and safe travels Marc.
For a previous mention of the 90% battery availability: Depending on the battery technology, it may help the battery charge level last for more years. However, I'm not sure how this would compare to the bike's lifespan so it may or may not be a benefit either.

So you like accelerating out of traffic/trouble but have to be very careful that in India especially as you go south a lot of drivers will expect you to move out of their way. They will literally drive into you and not stop, expecting you to move out of the way. I’ve seen myself many times.. One day it can go bad so please be very careful.

There's less traffic because of the heat..in Delhi most of the people stay at indoors during noon hours because of the heat.

So you like accelerating out of traffic/trouble but have to be very careful that in India especially as you go south a lot of drivers will expect you to move out of their way. They will literally drive into you and not stop, expecting you to move out of the way. I’ve seen myself many times.. One day it can go bad so please be very careful.
