Well, there are some vocaloids that sound robotic. Like rook and gachapoid ryuto.
Ruby Hardy They might sound like that because of the phonetics, when you upload a voice archive with the necessary phonetics to programs like UTAU or Vocaloid without editing, they will sound pretty robotic.

If you actually played the game in English (which you clearly haven't), you'd see they call him Keebo, pronounced exactly the same as Kiibo.

Just a reminder, Kiibo is actually very small compared to Shuichi. Kiibo stands at a height of 5’3 while Shuichi stands at 5’7. Due to kiibo’s lack of physical strength, it’s hard to lift Shuichi with his height.
